He Baptisted me and I was also saved too, I knew Pastor Phil Young for years! He has a HEART OF GOLD, I really miss him anotherthing he has a wonderful, beautiful and blessed family. Comment: Edited Updated Review:The teaching at this church is very biblical... and the pastor always hits home when he preaches. Biblical God-centered churches are difficult to find in this century and in the land of entertainment near Disney World & Universal theme parks. lol. But this is definitely a God-fearing Church where you can feel safe and be guaranteed that you will be challenged & convicted each week.However, be aware that in order to get to know the people you have to get involved in ministry or the Bible classes they have available. I guess thats how it is in most churches in order to get plugged in. So with a schedule like mine, its been difficult. But you can tell these people do care & love as Jesus commanded us to.

Comment: My family and I love attending Aloma Church. When you pull into the parking lot you are greeted with a wave and a smile. Every week we look forward to a great big hug that we receive from the sweetest lady near the front door. She always takes the time to ask how we are doing. When we enter the church there are many other folks who greet you on the way to your seat. We feel so at home in this church, from the first day we attended. There is a real community here, everyone genuinely cares about you and relationships are built.Every week when we are on our way home we will all talk about the sermon that Pastor Baldwin preached that week and it is amazing how he is able to touch each of our lives every time. Our daughter is fourteen and we love to hear her explain how the message applies to her in her life as a teenager.God is using this church and this pastor in a mighty way.

While our children range in age from a toddler to college, there are opportunities for each of them to become involved as well as my husband and myself. Everyone from church staff to church membership have always been warm and welcoming. When we aren’t able to attend service in person we are greatful for the opportunity to watch the services live online. We love Aloma Church!

Comment: My wife and I have become members here for several reasons. First, people were friendly from the beginning but you really have to connect with a Life Group to make true friends. We tried two groups, then we found one that was perfect for us. So be sure to try more than one if the first group doesnt click. They are some groups age related and a few that are deeper Bible study and age is not a concern.Second, Wes is a very sound Biblical doctrine teacher and wants all of Aloma to realize we must be more like the church in Acts. Jesus calls us to be witnesss to His Gospel, not bench warmers in the pews.Lastly, this year has an increased focus on getting the church out into the community. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet people and help them find the spiritual peace that Jesus can bring.Like anything in life, you only get out of it what you put into it. I believe if you seek connections you will make plenty of new friends, I know we have already.

Comment: My wife and I have been attending here for 2 years and we absolutely love our church family. The church has many opportunities to get connected with others in similar stages of life. Attending a life group/small group Bible study made such a difference in our lives. We tried a few groups before finding one that was a perfect fit and now talk to eachother regularly (not only in or about church).Most importantly, the teaching and preaching is sound, biblical and down to earth, and the pastor challenges us weekly. I definitely recommend spending a Sunday at Aloma Church (or multiple Sundays) to experience the love and community of God and the people for yourself.

Comment: I have been a member at Aloma since my 12th birthday. I have friends who have left and some who have stayed and even made new friends along the way. This past year has been exceptionally difficult for my family for both my son and for me. The children team has embraced my son despite many challenges and showed him that some people wont ever give up on you. My life group has wrapped their arms around us and prayed us through many situations this year. I know that a lot of people visit and I wish I could meet everyone, but I encourage you to find a life group, get plugged into one of the very many ministries going on. It will bless you in ways you didnt know were possible.
