Comment: I just feel like “I’m home”When I’m there. Pastor Matthew reaches me in a way that other local pastors just cannot. I adore this church. Just be sure not to go up vandyke from dale mabry or you will get stuck in terrible traffic. Take Gunn highway or the veterans.

Comment: I attended a memorial for my friend Kristi today. I’ve never been to bay hope.I had the pleasure of meeting Sherrie Leatherwood who is the Director of Care. She was one of those people you only meet in a blue moon because they are extra special, the church is very blessed to have such an amazing person on staff. I couldn’t stop thinking about the extra time she gave me and the impact it had on my day. So I had to look her up on the website to post here and say thank you!!!! :)

Comment: Bay Hope is the best church in Tampa Bay. I recommend it to anyone who wants to find a welcoming, loving, friendly church. Its great for the family, my daughter loves it they have an awesome kids program for the young ones all the way up to the older kids. Its amazing, the remodel is absolutely beautiful. I always feel comfortable and loved at this church! Pastor Matthew helped me find Jesus Christ here. He is by far the greatest pastor Ive ever listened to, he is so dedicated to His word, and passionate for what he does as a pastor. Pastor Matthew had changed my views on life, I was baptized here by him as well as my daughter, and my life has changed forevermore. All of the pastors are fantastic, our volunteers are awesome, they have amazing groups and classes for everyone. If youre looking to serve/volunteer, or to just have a great family time, if youre looking for Jesus, come to Bay Hope Church it will change your life.God Bless.

Comment: My daughter really enjoyed Sports Camp at Bayhope Church, and everyone is so nice. They have many programs for children of all ages and teenagers. They also have Embrace on the 3rd Saturday of every month, for free, for special needs kids, with lots of activities, and to give parents a break. And they have lots of summer camps. So, different programs, even if one is not a member, or a family members are not members of the church.

Whether you are needing a church family or looking to volunteer, they have endless opportunities. They have amazing kids programs and community out reach, couples classes as well as mens and womens Bible studies. This is a great church!Originally they were Methodist, but seems they are more non denominational now. We dont attend for the denomination we attend for the message that we receive from Pastor Mathew and staff.

You will stay focused during the sermons. No time left to drift off. Reinforcement available online and in small groups. Comment: My husband and I visited Bay Hope Church for the first time today, after having visited plenty of churches far and wide in Tampa. We relocated from out of state about 6 months ago and have been looking for a home church since the first week we moved here. We live less than 10 mins away from Bay Hope, and cannot believe we missed it all this time! The service was great, the worship hearfelt, and pastor Matthews message impactful and relevant. This church has many opportunities to serve and connect, and make a difference in the community and in the world for Jesus, what a blessing. We both knew as soon as we walked in that we would be back for more, and that our search is over!

Pastor Matthew is great and is always able to relate his message to the real world and what is happening in your life today. Van Dyke also has a great kids program.
