Comment: I have been going here now over 5 years with my family. I truly enjoy and love the enviroment, people, and pastor Dave and his Wife and all the volunteers. I truly love that the teachings is straight out of scripture and Pastor Dave has a gift to transfer the bible in a way that makes things clear to understand. And, his Wife is awesome as well and answers my prayer requests everytime I fill out the prayer Cards which shows they take the time to acknowledge their members. I truly feel that I have grown in God and the best part is my kids and Wife enjoy going as well so it makes it easy for us to wake up on Sundays and be a part of this Wonderful Church. Also, may I add that all the Volunteers are so nice and Coffee and donuts are a plus. And, their Mens group as well as many other groups are awesome as well. If you want a Church that shares the Gospel, than look no further come visit.

He seeks prepare us to thrive in a troubled world. We are so thankful we found this church community. We participate in Chapel Small Group Bible Study and cherish the friendships of our group.

You will not find a more friendly, Bible centered, loving church anywhere.If you’re thinking of visiting our church for the first time, please do it! We will be so happy to have you.Our pastor is great, he teaches the Bible verse by verse, and always boils the lesson down to how it easily applies to our lives. Comment: If you are looking for the stereotypical Mega Church, look no further. Not saying that is a bad thing, but an honest observation. In all fairness however, the teaching and preaching are biblically sound and scripturally correct. They have an AMAZING program for the kids and youth (honestly the main reason we still come, because my wife and I have always belonged to really small country churches). The people here are super nice, and it is very convenient to have a donut and coffee before the service.

Comment: Life Church is a relevant, Bible-based place of worship that is designed for all family members! Our experience from the beginning has been exactly what we prayed for in a local church. The worship music and messages are designed to uplift, educate and grow our relationships with God and others. Our time there each week always leaves us encouraged to pray bold and specific prayers along with practical ways to better ourselves. Having 2 daughters, one middle-school age and one elementary age, its important to us to keep them engaged and LC does just that! Their Life Youth and Life Kids programs both offer leaders and content that are phenomenal and its inspiring as parents to see our kids so pumped about their own spiritual growth!

Comment: Attending Life Church continues to provide an incredible spiritual and fellowship experience for our family. We were initially drawn to the conversational, engaging, and biblically rooted weekly messages provided by lead pastor, Dave Melendez...but we stayed because of the inclusive, warm group of people who attend the church. We felt sincerely welcomed and we had the chance to plug into the church immediately. We joined the iServe ministry before we became church members, because my husband and I have a passion for serving others and giving back to our community. The experience of working side-by-side with others from the church serving the local area cemented our belief that Life Church was the church home for us. Pastor Dave often says that church isnt a building, its a group of people. I have never felt that sentiment come to life the way I have at Life Church. There are multiple ministries to support the congregation and to allow attendees and guests to become involved in the church beyond simply attending weekly services (although the services are indeed fabulous!). If you want to grow spiritually, or if you are simply interested in learning more about Christianity and the bibles teachings, I wholeheartedly encourage you to give Life Church a try!

The worship team prepares our hearts for the sermon with thier talents and gifts of singing and praising. Pastor Dave Melendez is anointed and gifted by the Holy Spirit . He speaks biblical truth with love and grace. His wife Gina has such a big loving heart for the women of our church and works hard at bringing them together for event nights. Comment: Life Church has a lot of benefits, but if I can be honest, I only go for free coffee. I mean come on! Free Coffee every Sunday! What?! Who gives away free coffee now and days? I could tell you that Pastor Dave is a man that has dedicated, and invested, his all in understanding that he must not only leave a better church, but a better community. I can tell you that the choir may have you actually tearing up, while demanding that you invest yourself spiritually to praising our mighty father, but I wont. I can tell you that our youth ministry has been transformed into combating life issues, and understanding that there are solutions to whatever life issues may come. Knowing that we must leave the church in better hands starts with holding those hands in prayer first, but I do not want to speak on that! I mean come on! Free Coffee! If you are looking for a place to worship, and have the courage to serve, come to Life Church. If you want to be held to the standards of God, come to Life Church. If you want preaching with love and accountability, come to Life Church. You know why? Because you can get all that and more with a free cup of coffee in your hands in the process. There are so many things this church offers that keep children and adults wanting to come to church again and again. Last year, my Granddaughter and I decided to join and we have been greeted with love, compassion and acceptance.Some of the things we have been involved in, are Sisterhood, Journey 1, Growth Track 2 and 3. I am on the care team. All of this makes me feel like a part of a loving family.Pastor Dave was there for my family and me when I lost my husband last year. My Granddaughter was baptized again in the church and was married in the church too. Everyone was so helping and accommodating. Pastor Dave and his wife Gina always greet us by name.This is one of the best things that has happened in my life. So many wonderful things and we have grown so much in this church. Comment: After church searching relentlessly for two years we stumbled upon Life Church in auburndale! What a blessing it has been! We have met wonderful friends, got connected through membership class , attended awesome events like chili cook offs and invite your friends day which included a fun fair! Aside from all the incredible things life church has their hands in the Melindez family is so welcoming, pastor Dave does his job beautifully and whole heartedly. As far as covid and its effect on Sunday morning service, life church does not require nor prohibit the use of masks and they highly recommend social distancing between families. They also have hand sanitizing stations available in the lobby. If your looking for a home church to plant some roots life church may be the church for you!

Comment: Auburndale Life Church began in the end of 2005 beginning of 2006 when Carpenters Home Church sold there Lakeland property to Without Walls Central and acquiring the formal Life and Praise Temple which was the home of Without Walls Central. Karl Straders son-in law Shane Simmons was lead pastor of the church for 8 and half years and was able to show a tremendous growth. Being able to establish MVP sports program and having a heart for the people of Nicaragua and helping establish Life Church in Malagalpa,Nicaragua. And in 2013 Pastor Simmons went home to be with Jesus and in October 2013 Dave Melendez took over the Church and he has done a good job of bringing people in and showing gods love. And this church is so loving and caring that it feels like home and it is. So for anyone looking for a great church then this is one.

Comment: Such a Wonderful Church. My family and I are natives to the Auburndale area and have seen the church go through a few transitions. We became regular members about 3 years ago however.The kids church is awesome. My kids started 3years ago in their Summer VBS program. My son was having a lot of behavioral problems in school at the time, and this really helped him. My son learned so much about the Bible that he could apply to his behavior.They also have a real Youth Basketball Team (co-ed)! It starts up several times a year and really helps motivate the kids. Also a Cheerleading team. My kids participated in both, I even signed up my niece. They really enjoyed it!Pastor Dave is a great pastor. Provides conscious sermons, that promote spiritual growth. He doesn’t hold a “Your Going to Hell!!” seminar like some churches. The sermons are based on the word, not opinion and hold you accountable. They are not a “money hungry” church either.

Comment: The Pastor is amazing and uses visuals during his sermon and tells of illustrations to get the message to everyone. He quotes the Bible. I just cant get into the singing...I dont know the songs, nothing remotely recognizable and I do listen to the Joy FM on occasion. The songs seem more like those to be performed by a soloist not a group.They do have a lot of activities during the week and an active youth program. The door greeters are very warm and welcoming. They do have a coffee and juice station with fresh fruit and/or a donut before the service if you didnt catch breakfast. But my favorite thing is the message from Pastor Dave.

Comment: My new home church! They welcomed my family with open arms and have loved us through rough times. Their kid program is amazing and Pastor Dave is extremely down to earth and is driven for this community. They have a kids basketball and cheer teams are a great way to get your kids active and in touch with responsibility, love an Christ!
