So you don’t feel pressured at all. They also do fun cool activities for everyone. And the church is exactly 1 hour long. Been going when I can for the past year.

The service was 1 hr long and included a few worship songs, a dance routine, a sermon and a brief prayer. They have coffee, juices and muffins in the lobby. They have have childrens church/day care.

Comment: A very nice church. I will be visiting. I like to visit when i can. I am actually looking for a church home. Something about this place doesnt stick for me to make me want it be my church home.One thing I notice in this church is really a me thing but maybe I missed these days. I wish the praise and worship music was a little more upbeat or a different sound. It sounds the same everytime I visit. Maybe more gospel mixed in. Like some Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, some Take me to the king and some Yolanda Adams. Maybe a little Donnie McClurkin. Mary Mary. Order my steps. The reason why I sing. Praise is what I do. It would really make the praise and worship better mixing in a little more soul. This church have many cultures. Please open up your christian music collection that you perform before service.

Comment: I have been attending Church by the Glades for seven years, and it is truly the most impressive church. The people there are always friendly, and the service is unlike any other. They bring a modern twist to it that is unique. It is definitely not your typical boring service. It is entertaining and brings the word of God to life. However, this is just my personal opinion. I highly recommend checking it out.

God has given him the Gift and He uses the Spirit to change and allow us to feel Jesus inside of us! Comment: If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. They are 10 stars for me. I started going to CBG after a close friend of mine, who attended there, met into a bad car accident and passed away. I’m a pastor kid, so I decided to attend one Sunday in memory of her, and guess what? It’s been 5 years and I love every minute of worshipping and serving there. The atmosphere there is dripping with love and family. I’m a part of CBG now serving and making lasting God filled friendships. We are definitely about Jesus and His word. Come and see with an open heart and I guarantee you will never leave the same way you came because you will be standing in the presence of God. Being also a suicide survivor, I am surrounded with such love and support.

Weve been attending for the last 6 years and they always make sure youre feeling welcome! The worship team is incredible, even as its changed throughout the years, expanding to other locations, moving people around...they always bring the WOW factor...entertaining and with their lights and sounds, they make you FEEL the music, thus bringing more glory to God. Thankful to live close by and be spiritually fed by CBG whos motto is, theyre a church that is passionate about God & His Word! Pastor Charlie Hughes is the future of the church, 3rd generation Pastor, following in his incredible fathers steps (Pastor David Hughes).They offer coffee, cold drinks and snacks before & after service. As well as a merch space with bibles, books, jewelry & CBG gear. All year long they make a place that is safe to celebrate all holidays and Sat/Sun holy-days. God bless this church, its present and future in our community as a beacon of light.

Comment: Altough it seems like a show for most christians (having worked here as a volunteer in 2021 for a brief time as a door greeter) the team is great and very welcoming. You wont be led astray by this church, word of a true christian here🌈so be free to check it out. Opening team and if youre interested at the end of the service they offer the next step. I was sad to be let go because of complications in my life but I still love the people who work here and pastor Hughes is just very kind and bright. Comment: I have enjoyed this church since the day I started attending because it is so different from traditional churches which can seem mundane and not as passionate. I really enjoy the visuals that I get from the service because most people are visual learners. it helps us remember the message more effectively. I love the energy and creativity especially in today’s age where most people have a very short attention span. I love the constant theme of imperfection because it makes us Christians appear more real and relatable. I think I’m todays negative world, this church represents what we need more of which is the combination of positive scriptural references and messages combined with lively music, dance choreography and laughter. Of course, this church is imperfect but neither are we Christians. Our imperfections is what make us special and beautiful! Thank you CBTG, for all that you do for us members!

Comment: Coming from a traditional church, I was impacted by the opening show. It was a bit much for me at first. I stayed because I connected to the messages the pastors deliver. The pastors are very humble and down to earth. The Messages are translated into our real world of today. With time, I understood that the opening show is connected to the message in a very fun way -listen to the lyrics and sing to God. Lisa H. has to be the wisest woman Ive ever heard (and I am a professional educated person who likes to read). The women studies with Lisa and Heather are so fulfilling. There are plenty of opportunities for everyone (all ages) to serve, volunteer, join the church community and meet like-minded people. It IS a Fun church with a Strong Relationship with God ♥

Comment: My family enjoys this church and their services very much.I would highly recommend wearing sunglasses. The lighting is wonderful, but anyone who has issues with light sensitivity should be warned.I received a migraine and I was experiencing eye pain during my last visit.The lighting is direct at most times. This was a piercing experience for a me.Also, music can be deafening loud at times. My father and mother carry ear plugs due to this.

At first I was completely against this church, considering I grew up in a Small Christian church where my dad was the pastor, it wasn’t until after a few visits I understood why they do everything. This current generation is so so far from God so many of them consider themselves non religious! Church by the glades tries to implement things that would catch their attention and hopefully get them interested in God, and from then if they choose to move on to a smaller much normal church, great! I guess I look at it as a way to bridge the gap Although I do agree somethings raise my concern, like selling things IN the church.

They offer volunteer services and financial classes every couple of months and its not old school. I never had to force myself to attend. Its very entertaining and the sermons they preach can be applied to modern life.

Im down here from Alabama for mths at a time & Im so grateful to have a church here like CBG. *Very* dynamic vibe -Being a grandkid of an Old School Southern Baptist preacher - you can imagine that I was raised hearing *alot* of biblical teaching & sermons -- and I have to say that CBGs Pastor, David Hughes, is one of those uncommon & unusually blessed speakers. Hes quite laid back looking - but dont let that casual demeanor fool you. Hes uniquely insightful in reference to scriptural interpretations - extremely well read & exceptionally knowledgeable. His sermons are scripturally sound and *always* relevant & engaging --- not to mention very memorable.Youre definitely not going to doze off in the pew here!If Im not mistaken - they have a contemporary service Sunday evenings (plus recently on Monday evenings too) & I think they do a more traditional type service first thing on Sunday mornings; but Ive never been to that one so dont quote me - if thats more your speed then do check with them to be sure. Hearing and singing a few heart warming old standards is always great (if you can find it these days) & if they do a more traditional first service on Sundays - then I would imagine thats probably in the mix too.The music in the contemporary service is fantastic! My friends teens love it! (we do too) Their music ministry is indeed blessed with incredibly talented & *dynamic* musicians & singers! Absolutely amazing direction by the Music Minister! (& obviously polished & brandished by the Spirit)Theres several services on Sunday so look up the service times on their website. YouTube has alot of past & present messages too.Truly... Comment: I love my CBG family for what they do in South Florida and through the ministries that broadcast services to prisons, cable networks, and online communitys all over. Pastor David uses creative pop culture to make the bible understandable and relatable. The first time I heard a pop song performed in church I was so confused; later in the series when Pastor David explains that Secular music (non-religious) never appears in the bible. He goes further to explain Church should be fun and the creative outreach is more for the 1 than the many. CBG is about being here, to bring the word of God to everyone, by ANY MEANS NECESSARY. When you visit the first time you get gift and a card to redeem for a t-shirt on your second visit. The shirts read on of the mantras that you hear often at CBG No perfect people allowed. This is the most open, welcoming, diverse, and creative churches I have ever been to, I moved from Louisiana nearly a year ago and CBG has become our familys church home. The most amazing part is my husband didnt attend church at all before CBG and now he leads our family spiritually and it was the creativity that held his attention enough for Gods word and Gods grace and love to touch our lives. God and his word is what CBG is all about and the message and worship is always awesome.The atmosphere is very much like what is said in :1 Corinthians 9:22 New International Version (NIV)22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak; I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.

Comment: Even though I have reviewed over a hundred restaurants and stores I have held off on writing about the place closest to my heart for fear of not having the right words to show how much it means to me. The food places of South Florida might nourish my body but this church is the place that feeds my soul. Week after week I see cruelty and pain everywhere I look around me but this the place I come to see and feel the word of Jesus carried out. Kindness and inclusiveness is at the heart of everything everyone does here. This church lives Matthew 25:36, they feed the hungry and they minister to those who are sick and in prison. In addition to all of their good works the services are awesome. The music team always impresses me. Church by the Glades has some of the best singers I have ever heard. I have never failed to be moved while they are singing. I also always get something useful and applicable to my life from the service. Pastor David or whoever is preaching that day will hook into some pop culture moment and use it to preach a biblical message. The message will have practical implementation to your life. You will never fall asleep or be bored at this church.To get the full experience you must serve or join a group. To me that is the point of church. You get biblical teaching and you use it to help serve others. Since I have joined the photography ministry I have meet so many great people who support each other both inside and outside of church. We meet at 7 pm every Monday night in the choir room, anyone who likes to take pictures is welcome to join. We have fun outings, for instance this Saturday morning to shoot the sun rise over Deerfield Beach. My daughter has joined the film team. Their has taught her so much. She is learning things about film and editing that are standards in the industry and will help her with pursuing her career. This is a creative church that values young people. The programs for kids such as Kidstuf, the Wave, and Camp United are top notch. Your children will love them and develop their own support networks. The people here really care about the youth that attend this church.I could go on and on about my love for this church. They have the most dynamic guest speakers, they support women in ministry, they have life changing mission trips, they put on the best Halloween, Christmas, and Easter celebrations, it is full of creative and artistic people, and the pastors preach engaging sermons full of energy and biblical truth. And they do it at six different campuses every week. There are two prison ministries in Homestead, the main campus in Coral Springs, and campuses on Sample Road, Lake Worth, and down town Ft. Lauderdale. The church has the motto No perfect people allowed. As Pastor David is fond of saying, God has used the some of the most messed up people to do some of the greatest things. I love how I continue to see and be a part of the great things done every week in Gods name here.

I love the impact that such a large church can make in the community and love to be a part of that impact. I have been welcome with open arms by the Guest Services ministry and by my Lifegroup. I am so proud of the outreach and mission work that the church provides.When I first visited Church by the Glades what made me come back was Pastor Davids message. He preaches the Bible along with life application. You can learn stories of the Bible at any church or even a religion class in college but I loved how Church by the Glades helps and encourages us to apply Biblical principles in our daily lives.Yes, the worship is loud (not too loud for me) and the service may seem a little out there, but that creativity is being used for a greater purpose. One service a week (more is always better) is enough to recharge me. So much love and community there. You will never feel alone or out of place at CBGlades.

Comment: I love this church! I have been a part of Church by the Glades for 7 years and my family look forward to being a part of the services each weekend! I lead music with the band and my wife is involved serving in the womens ministry; we have also built relationships in the small group we attend on Tuesday nights.Pastor David brings incredibly inspiring teachings every week that help me take the steps I need to take as a man (husband and father).We love Church by the Glades!

Comment: I have been a member of Church By the Glades now for the last two years. The first time my wife and I attended CBG we were floored by the size of the campus and all the different life groups that were available to join. The Worship Team was absolutely amazing, it was as if we were attending a live concert with state of the art sound system and lighting. Services were uplifting, entertaining, and hearing Pastor Dave speak on Jesus and his Word instantly changed our lives. Within weeks we were baptized and a month later married with the ceremony being performed by Pastor Tom. CBG has become our family church, our sanctuary and support system that has helped us grow in our walk with GOD. There creativity keeps us guessing with a different series every few weeks and amazing Christian speakers, service is never ever a dull moment. I wish we would of found it sooner - however Thank God we did.

Comment: My experience with CBG, as a visitor, is that the senior pastor David Hughes is an excellent expositor and Gospel preacher. The people of the church are warm and welcoming, the spirit is high energy and full of excitement, and the results are many, many souls coming to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Comment: I have been a Christian my whole life, but today I feel that I have a personal relationship with God because of my being plugged in at Church by the Glades. I cannot say it was just the weekly services that has changed my whole life -- it was so much more! It was the people who work and volunteer here who are energized and excited about serving others, it was the numerous opportunities to find a way to spread your wings and find your path, AND it was Pastor Davids creative leadership that brings it all together with inspiring, engaging, and educational services week after week. Leave your preconceived ideas of what church is or what it is supposed to be and come and check it out. It could be one of the best decision youll ever make--I know it was one of mine!

Comment: I *love* this place. Ive found community and encouragement here that I havent been able to find anywhere else. The people are authentic and the teaching is relevant and biblical. If you are looking for a place to belong and find truth while being encouraged in life, this is where you want to be!

Comment: CBG has impacted my life in incredible ways. Its truly a special place filled with amazing people. I cant even begin to explain all the ways in which Church by the Glades has impacted me, but suffice it to say I wouldnt be the same without it. If youre ever in the South Florida area you have got to check out CBG!
