Comment: If anyone reading reviews is looking for a church to call home, I highly recommend giving CoastLife a try. The second you pull into the parking lot you’re welcomed by people helping you park, walking in you’re shown love, to walking into the church and being helped finding a seat. The serve team at CoastLife is like no other. They don’t water down the Bible they speak the truth of the word. Worship team is respectful through praise but such high quality. They support anyone at any part of their journey. Super laid back in attire, from your Sunday best to just comfortable shorts and a T shirt. I have to say my favorite part which is hard to pick is the community and fellowship it’s truly a family. All together I give coast life 5 stars from their serve team, worship team, how they preach and what they preach about, to the people who attend CoastLife. I was raised in church and then left, finding CoastLife was a true gift from God. My life will never be the same after making CoastLife my home, joining a family full of love, forgiveness, passion, desire to support and help, laughter, fellowship. Excited to join my first group and hopefully serve the church too.Please give CoastLife a shot, I promise you will not regret it. They’ve changed my life, my perspective on faith. I’m 25 years old and I cannot thank the CoastLife family enough.Childcare is all background checked and they take great strides ensuring the people who are apart of the team are a good fit.

Comment: I mean I really can’t rate a church poorly especially one that puts on such a production like coast life. The VOLUME can be turned down to maybe below 90 decibels so it doesn’t cause people to have hearing damage, but other than that this church is home for MANY now to include myself. Such amazing people and a lovely worship team. The pastor preaches the Bible. Not what you want to hear so I recommend trying to sit through a service. Bring a friend and bask in everything God and coast life has to bring you. Also Parking gets a little crazy sometimes so either don’t pick the 10:30am service or arrive early.

Comment: We love our church, including but not limited to Pastor Jason, worship, and the kids ministry. We have a 9-year-old daughter who attends kids. She loves it, both online and in person. Our daughter is on the spectrum and did participate in the buddy program the church offers. When we first began attending, she would sit with us, with her tablet, in church because we didnt know what the church offered for special kiddos. However, another mom noticed that she wasnt attending kids and pulled us aside to explain the buddy program. My daughter no longer needs the program but usually has the same teacher every week. Her teacher actually teaches the online kids program! Our daughter loved online but was so happy to go back in person!Our church did a phenomenal job getting the online platform up and running only 2 weeks after Covid hit. We attended online for over 6 months before returning in person. We missed it! The worship is awesome, no matter how you attend; however, we truly appreciate it in person. Our worship is very contemporary and includes phenomenal voices in addition to a base, electric, and acoustic guitars; a drum set; and a keyboard. In addition to wonderful worship, Pastor Jason shares Biblically-based messages. I love it when he gets excited!In true Coastlife tradition, Im inviting you to visit our ever-growing church. Comment: I visited CoastLife Church for the first time today. The first thing I noticed was that their parking team was ON. POINT. There were plenty of people, from the street to the parking spot, there to show me exactly where to go.Then as I headed in toward the church, there were all kinds of people, some in costumes (!) and a party atmosphere. Maybe this is just for a special weekend series, but it was a bit crazy. For me, coming for the first time, it was a little overwhelming, but it seemed like everyone was really happy.Once inside, there was free popcorn and free drinks (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite) in a big cooler. This went along with their theme At the Movies. I headed past this into the main auditorium. It was dark (not pitch dark, just lowered lights) with images (corresponding with what Id seen on the church website) on the screen. Ushers showed me in after asking where (in general) Id like to sit.The start-up was a bit cheesy, as the worship band got the crowd revved up for the service -- not so much into that personally, but it seemed like lots of people were. There was a real variety of age groups here -- from young people, children and teenagers, young adults, young parents, and a few older adults. The church trended young. I would definitely recommend for young families -- though I did not experience the childrens or youth ministries. The worship music was good, and the worship leader connected with me personally.As for the sermon -- it wasnt exactly my cup of tea; Id rather have a live preacher than a video simulcast. Not sure where the actual preacher was, or who the preacher was (that wasnt ever explained), but it was definitely a pre-recorded message, interspersing portions of the movie Shazam with the preachers connecting it to biblical narrative.After the sermon, the Next Generations Minister invited anyone to connect with God in a new way or to turn their lives over to Jesus. He seemed like kind of a hype man (not good or bad, just the way it came across). They were also doing baptisms, between services out in an area between buildings, so I stuck around for that. To me, thats the best part of church. It was a little disappointing for it to be optional and between services but thats OK. Hey, at least theyre making disciples and baptizing!They advertised some next steps to take for the discipleship journey; the sermon itself was somewhat elementary teaching and the service was a party atmosphere, so I am imagining that their philosophy is that life change happens best in small groups. I think that was part of what they were advertising in their next steps.
