Comment: My wife and I are visiting from Houston, Texas. I always enjoy going to weekday Mass when we come to Destin. The people (church) are so friendly, warm and welcoming. They shared prayer cards with me so I could follow along with the daily prayers. Father is so welcoming and asked me when am I going to move here. :) I sat behind a very kind lady, Ms. Jeanine, who invited me to Thursday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. I look forward to our next visit to Destin because I really enjoy going to Mass here. 🙏

Comment: Corpus Christi Catholic Church is a small intimate parish tucked in the back roads of Old Destin. The Pastor, Farther Viet is a very holy man that places his parishioners above and beyond when one reaches out for help or assistance. Along with his parishioners Father has a humongous passion for the sick and the lowly. One can always count on Father Viets prayers. I must also add that Father Viets homilies always leaves one with a deep message from Christ and one always wants to listen intently so they will not miss his corny jokes he slips in here and there. Corpus Christi is blessed to have such a wonderful pastor.

Comment: We’re vacationing in Destin and the entire parish made us feel like we were long time parishioners. Father Viet calls us pilgrims! His homily was engaging and the reverence at the altar of our Lord was moving. We’re a family of 6 and when I had to take my impatient 2 year old out into the vestibule, I was met with kind eyes by the people in the pews...always a good sign of a loving parish. If we lived here, we’d be happy to call Corpus Christi, home.

Comment: Father Viet is such a kind, warm hearted and loving priest...he makes all feel at home and welcome; his sermons are so interesting (love his jokes)! I do find a peace and serenity at Corpus Christ, and the parishioners are just so friendly. I love seeing everyones smiles as they leave mass, like they are all renewed and strengthened.

Comment: This is a place you need in your life. Everyone is welcoming and I felt at home. This is not my normal church but I will probably switch soon. Being baptist it is not what I expected but exactly what I wanted and need.
