Comment: I’ve been attending CCC for a little over 3 years now and it’s been one of the best changes we’ve made as a family since moving to Florida 8 years ago. The teaching is biblically sound yet very practical for daily living, and the people have been warm & welcoming. They do a very good job of making a large church feel small with all the opportunities they give you to connect with various communities/small groups that may be appropriate for your lifestyle or stage in life. Our kids, who are now college age, have really enjoyed it and more importantly have significantly grown in their walk with the Lord which is directly attributed to CCC and their youth program. I would highly recommend anyone looking for Church that has something for everyone, not from a seeker sensitive standpoint, but from an evangelistic standpoint where you can get plugged in (kids, youth, young adult, seniors, etc) based on your current spiritual walk (brand new or seasoned). I appreciate that they are not afraid to have the tough conversations from the pulpit and preach the whole Bible, not just what you want to hear. Of course, no church is perfect but if you’re looking to grow spiritually and find people you can potentially do life with, it’s worth you taking look. You’ll be greeted with a smile by the lead Pastor himself.

Comment: I honestly cannot say enough about this church! It has been an amazing experience for my family and I. We are a family of five, when we first started looking for a church we were family of four, with two kids, a teenager in a little one. We must have visited so many churches in the Pinellas County area, trying to find a church that would preach God’s word, and also engage our teenager, and engage our three year old at the time. We were asking for a lot, but we knew God would bring us to the right place. When we set foot at countryside, everyone was so welcoming! The pastor greets you at the door, the youth group was amazing for our than teenager, and the kids ministry was just amazing! My husband and I were quickly able to join a men’s and women’s group. We are grateful for Pastor Glenn, Pastor Tim, Pastor Alex, Pastor Dan, and everyone in the ministry that preaches from God‘s word. They love God and love people. We are so blessed to be part of this church! If you are looking for a church that is going to show you kindness and teach you God’s word, come to Countryside! They have young adults, youth group, children’s ministry, helping hands ministry, and God‘s word every Sunday!

Comment: I have gone to this church my whole life and would not go anywhere else. Everyone here is always very welcoming and friendly. They make you feel like family the second you come in the door. The sermons in all of the many different ministries are always very applicable, helpful, informative, and powerful. They manage to make everyone no matter what age feel like they belong. There is a ministry for everyone from adults to infants. The worship here is the most powerful worship Ive ever experienced. You feel Gods presence more and more every time! From the moment you enter the door you can tell that God is moving in this church and that God is using this church for something truly special and amazing and that through this church God is going to change tons of lives!

Comment: I was visiting the Clearwater area for business travel for about 3 years… and wanted to find a church I could visit during this time; did some research and found Countryside Christian Church, a Christ centered church aligning with the scriptures. The day to visit came and I was touched by the Holy Spirit as soon as I entered the building, could not stop crying with such an amazing worship experience! I did not know anybody at all, but the church made me feel so welcome. Later on the Spanish ministry approached me with much love and was able to find my family in Christ in this area. We do not know Gods plan, but this is now my permanent church after moving to this area, and I cannot be more blessed also serving the congregation!!!! If you do not have a church, this is your family!!!

Comment: I was at my lowest when I found Countryside. I had planned on getting back to Church and trying multiple locations. When I walked through the doors it immediately felt different than any other place I had been. I never tried those other locations. I knew I had found my home. Comment: I have been coming to Countryside for over 3 decades. Even when I lived in California 5 years, I would always go here on my trips back to Tampa. Even when I moved back to the area and lived 1 hour away I would make the drive.Many people don’t understand how you can feel the Holy Spirit in a church, trust me, you feel it here. This has always been my home. The church is not a building but the people who are a part of the church. The people here are from all walks of life, race and more, yet we all have one thing in common- JESUS!Nothing speaks more than the fact that our lead pastor grew up in the church and how his son is also on staff as a pastor. They LEAD from the top down by setting an amazing example of what a Christian looks like: damaged, bruised, broken, hurt, scorned, burned, etc. and yet it is through the belief in JESUS that we all will rise together and are forgiven.No church is perfect, nor is any person. Stop looking for a church and come join me and many people like you at this home away from home church.I even make sure to watch the services when traveling, yet it doesn’t feel the same as when you are physically there!!

When I arrived I didn’t have any high expectations, I just hoped to find a place to connect with God, but it turned out to be much more than that, the first thing I have to say is that it is an environment and teaching that adapts to both young people and adults, and for Christians. with an advanced spiritual maturity as well as for people who are even skeptical or who are just beginning their path of faith in God. My decisive factor for having wanted to return is that you do not feel any type of pressure, you do not feel harassed… on the contrary you really feel free and you can enjoy going to services!! Comment: We love Countryside Christian Church. I have been apart for the last 8 years my husband much longer. It has given us a place for our family to learn and grow in the Lord. Every Sunday it is a joy to watch young families come to church and know their kids will be loved and taken care of as mine were. They are a first class operation where Christ and the family come first. We are honored to be apart of it! Comment: We started attending Countryside Christian Church in 2020. We first went to scope it out as we wanted to send our daughter to the elementary school there—and we have been going ever since. I have been to many church’s in this area and this one was definitely different, though large, we immediately felt welcomed. They practiced what they preached about faith over fear and remained open while many church’s stayed closed during COVID—and still shook people’s hands. It was the only place I felt like I could go during the pandemic with out backlash about not wearing a mask. I am so thankful to Christ for leading our family to this church.Most importantly, this is a Bible preaching church. Pastor Glenn is wonderful and delivers powerful messages. His son, pastor Andrew, and nephew pastor Marcelo, are both awesome preachers and they all speak to all sanctification levels. Pastor Tim is a Bible scholar and we get so much out of his sermons. Wednesday’s are my favorite as Pastor Tim teaches college level classes on specific books of the Bible and has deepened my understanding of scripture and thus deepened my relationship and walk with Christ. Worship Wednesdays are done the first Wednesday of the month and it’s incredible to be a part of and witness the body of Christ come together and adore and worship Him. They also have a Spanish speaking service which is so awesome. The church is very diverse which i love. My children also have fun and get to worship. They have a great kids ministry for every age—they truly sow into these children and teens. In summary, Countryside is a nondenominational, Jesus worshipping, Great commission practicing, Holy Spirit filled, and believers that gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today. We love our church!!!

Comment: I came to Christ just under 2 years ago. I was intimidated by the large church setting but let me tell you, this church may be big but it feels small. They do so much for the community such as food drives, disaster relief, kids programs and so much more. I am so grateful for my church and the leadership. They glorify God and put the teachings of Jesus as the primary focus. Pastor Tim is a well of knowledge and is always eager to share that knowledge. My kids attend the school there and they are excelling in all subjects and their biblical knowledge is impressive for their ages. Countryside has been such a blessing to my family and I and we are so grateul for them. The female staff there are also incredible. They are so caring and loving. Comment: I have been attending church at countryside Christian church since July 1, 2018. It didn’t take me long to become a part of the CCC family and feel like I belonged, in fact, it was on that first day.I remember vividly,… I walked through the front doors as I was so pleasantly greeted why not only The pastors, but it felt like everyone in the church was happy to see me. I made my way to the first row And I haven’t been the same since. My entire life changed… I felt different… I felt loved… I felt more love for others than I ever had in my entire life. I immediately sought to serve, and so I became part of the usher team … and I still am today… 5 1/2 years later. Like so many others, I begin to wonder if there were other churches who could offer me more, I began to visit other churches. But it wasn’t More than just a few months, when I recognized, I was already “home” at countryside Countryside, Christian, Church. I just can’t get enough of God and love that countryside, my church, my home, offers. I now proudly serve God through Countryside and several areas.There are several of us who term the pastors, and all who are a part of the staff, including the volunteers as “a powerhouse team. Nowhere else will I experience more God and the Holy Spirit moving like I do at Countryside. Nowhere else will I feel more family than I do at Countryside. Comment: My family and I have been attending Countryside since 2018 and have loved every second of it. Our children love their Sunday morning classes and my wife and I enjoy Pastor Glenn’s sermons. He’s a very real pastor, very relatable, and he makes sure everyone knows they’re welcomed, and loved. The cafe is great! I eat there every Sunday morning (the burritos are awesome!). The people volunteering in there are always very friendly. Wednesday night men’s group is awesome as well. Pastor Tim and Pastor Dan are great. They also have a worship Wednesday every month, which is such a treat to go to! 100% recommend anyone looking for a church home to attend one Sunday.

Comment: My family has been a part of Countryside for over 2 years. Before showing up I had no desire to go to a larger church because of preconceived notions and things that I was told. I am happy to say that everything I was told was wrong, at least at this church.When you walk in, you are greeted by so many people, including all of the pastors. They make themselves available and are all so down to earth. I love seeing Pastor Glenn and Pastor Tim every morning and as I sit back and watch, I can tell they genuinely love greeting everyone who walks in the door whether they have attended for decades or it is their first time. They love God and love people.There is truly a ministry for everyone and if something is missing they do an incredible job empowering their people to create that space. I am blessed to serve with the youth. I have been in ministry in some form for 17 years and I cannot say enough about the leadership of Pastor Andrew and Pastor Marcelo over the middle and high school program. Hundreds of kids show up every Wednesday night and receive an unapologetic gospel matched with the love and grace of God. I absolutely love every part of it. Jesus is lifted up every time we get together. My 11th grade teen guys meet up on their own to have bible study and it is such an awesome thing to see in todays society.My entire family gets blessed every time we show up just with the friendships we have cultivated, very practical and biblically sound sermons, and the overall feeling of belonging. It is incredible to have so many people from all walks of life in one building but feel so connected at the same time. We are blessed to have pastors who are regular people and do not preach AT us but live life WITH us. Our Lead Pastor Glenn is about as down to earth and relatable as you could imagine.Regardless of your past, whether you grew up in church or have never even seen the inside of a sanctuary, this is a great place to visit. If you have experienced church hurt, this is an incredible place to find healing. Comment: I never really believed in organized religion. Or that I would find a church that made me feel like I wasn’t an outsider. This church has changed so much for me and my family. I finally feel a connection to the word of god through these pastors. They preach about love and how to be good, rather than base everything off of fear. They are inclusive and really do make you feel like family. My family and I move out of the area for work, and are moving back because of this church. Comment: Found Countryside church while on spring break trip. Decided to give up some beach time to worship with the locals. The service was great and my daughters liked it also. The best part of the day was assembling food meals with the congregation for Ukraine after the service. What a life impacting event this was on my family.

Comment: I have been going to this church for about 2 months and I cant express how thankful I am with the stuff and pastor. Everyones so nice and loving. The pastor is so close to the people and so humble! They always make sure you feel comfortable and its almost like being a home. Its such a cozy atmosphere and you truly feel that the Spirit of God is in this place. I grew up in a very Catholic home and it was hard for me to take the first step and go to this church on a Sunday but then after that everything was so easy and they made me feel like I belong here since day 1. Comment: Countryside Christian Church became home in 2018. My husband and I had just moved and googled best churches in the Clearwater area. After reading several great reviews; we narrowed it down to just a few churches that we wanted to check out before making a final decision. The first Sunday after our move; we pulled into Countryside Christian Church and the signs in the parking lot said “Welcome Home”. We walked into what appeared to be a very large church, however right at the front door to shake our hands and welcome us were many of the campus pastors and the lead pastor, Pastor Glenn, himself. The sermon series at the time was called ‘Friends’ and the women’s pastor, Pastor Kelly, was sharing the message that week. My husband and I were taking notes, starring many things & nudging each other during the entire sermon. The message was so relatable and packed with scripture. Each pastor brings something special to the congregation and sermons are always very Bible based. After the message, we experienced a very welcoming congregation who clearly represented Countryside’s mission: Love God and Love people. We were able to quickly get involved in the Children’s Ministry, Men & Women’s Group, Couples Group & more. Over the last 3 years, we have made lifelong relationships through Countryside and we never feel like we have to walk through this life alone. It doesn’t matter where you are at in your walk with Jesus because this community will meet and love you right where you are!

Comment: Great experience had a wonderful mothers day experience but as I took my mother-in-law that was in a wheelchair and also my daughter that was in a wheelchair we had pushed them outside and went to get a flower for them and as an older lady approached me very rude and stated only one flower as I seen other people walk out with multiple flowers I was technically just trying to get a flower for my mother-in-law and daughter but she had to make a big deal about it sometimes you should watch how you approach people and what you say you can literally hurt their feelings had a wonderful experience so other than the older lady trying to control the flowers and being very rude to me so thank you for being rude other than that great experience

Comment: It is a large church with a home like feel. It is very welcoming and inviting for all with many opportunities to serve or generally become involved.The worship and ministry are first class. They do things with excellence and a desire to reach the lost and hurting. They further offer a Preschool and K-8th grade school that are very highly rated, as well as a food pantry called, Helping Hands to offer food to the community.I’d recommend checking them out for a great experience with plenty of room to spread out.

Welcoming, AMAZING music and worship team and Pastor Davis was relatable, easy to understand and an excellent speaker. I appreciate that he included biblical verses and did not shy away from the gospel. We will ABSOLUTELY be back given an opportunity. Comment: I had an appointment with Pastor Patty today at 9:30. I didnt know where to park so everyone was very helpful and directing me to her office where I should go. I didnt have to wait to see her.
