They have been a tremendous help to my family, since we came into a sudden unexpected crisis.April in the church office was a godsend in particular. Comment: I felt such an out pouring of love and compassion from the people here. They seemed to be full of spirit and genuinely caring. I am so thankful I just happen to stumble upon this church. Having faith in God to lead me to a wonderful place on a dark time in my life, he must have guided me here. Thank you all for your service in the Lord.

Comment: Well we were fortunate enough to be able to come to your monthly drive through pantry today for the first time. We come when we can to the weekly pantry. We just wanted to thank you all for your organization and distribution of food today. God bless you all and keep you safe and well. As I was leaving your beautiful church this morning it was raining and gloomy however I felt warm and loved and blessed thanks to you all. At that moment I looked and there was a beautiful rainbow. Comment: Im new to Jax but hv lived in Fl since 2k5.During my short time in my new residence I hv driven past DBC a number of times. During which something inside me told me to visit this church.I did last Sunday Oct 8 2019 after my internal conflict told me to go at another time!The 10: 15 service was wonderful and the mssg from Pastor Larry touched me because i often pray for doing something good for other people when I pray for help.I was greeted by a very nice greeter Angie. Once inside I sat with a a very warm group of members who introduced themselves and I felt very welcomed.I guess God through The Holy Spirit I did make it to the service and I will attend this Sunday Oct 15th.Also, as a cancer survivor I pray for Pastor Larry and if he would like my support while he enters his treatment I will be there if he needs me.Tom Galemba

Comment: I have been attending this church since my son was a baby, he is 7years old now. This is a very good baptist church. They have pre school classes & school age classes during service so your little ones are taken care of. Susan Payne is the head of the preschool & Tammy Benedict I believe is for the school age children. They are 2 of the best, sweetest woman you will ever meet. Deermeadows is very welcoming & everyone is smiling & friendly. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CHURCH!!

Comment: Ive visited a lot of churches since coming to Jacksonville and this church has been the most welcoming. They are traditional without being exclusionary, which I also appreciate. They value their members and help you when you need it. There are not many young people who attend the church so Ive continued looking so I can build friendships, but if you are Baptist and looking for a true Christian community, this is the church for you.
