Comment: My wife Vicky and I were looking for a church after the pandemic season and were so thankful to find Emmaus over a year ago. We were drawn to many things after attending Emmaus for a few weeks: the heartfelt, authentic worship that points us to Jesus and what He has done for us and is doing for us through the power of the gospel; the worship time sets the table to hear historic, faithful, biblical and gifted preaching from our new friend and pastor, David. No Sunday passes where I dont sense the presence of God through the worship and preaching of Gods word applied to a heart that needs the gospel every day. This is a also a very welcoming place for people who have questions as well as a place for rescued sinners to renew their relationship with God in a loving faith community.

Comment: Our family has been blessed to be a part of Emmaus Church for almost a decade. I met my husband there when we were 15 and 16, got married, and are raising our babies with the most incredible Christ centered, Jesus seeking, loving community no place we’d rather be. It can be hard to find solid Biblical teaching and a welcoming, warm, vibrant community of believers and Emmaus has it all. A group of imperfect people doing life together, looking to our perfect Heavenly Father, and seeking to know and love Jesus more together. We love doing life with Emmaus and are beyond thankful for this church and our people who continuously point us to Jesus as we seek to grow in our faith. Come to Emmaus!

Comment: My family moved down here 4 years ago. After being plugged into our home church in New Jersey, we were eager to find a church we could run with and serve in. Emmaus is amazing. Here why:- Many churches have a hospitality ministry. Emmaus has a spirit of hospitality. You can sense that the community really, genuinely cares for you.- Worship is awesome. The worship leader is committed to doing things with excellence. She and the team create a beautiful worship experience.- Teaching is straight from the Bible. Most of my church upbringing has involved a lot of topical teaching - which is great. But Davids commitment to line-by-line expository preaching is HELPFUL because it helps you learn HOW TO READ the Bible.Love this church. Well be members of this community for as long as we live in Florida.

Comment: This church family meets in the historic Garden theater on Plant Street in downtown Winter Garden. Not only is the location of this church unique the solid theology and delivery of the gospel and God’s love for YOU from Pastor David is even more special.. While visiting Emmaus you can expect to be greeted by an excellent worship band, a congregation who is down to earth, loving and judgment free and by a pastor who loves and genuinely cares about every single person he meets.

Comment: I go to Emmaus Church every Sunday at 10 am at the beautiful Winter Garden Theatre on Plant Street at Downtown Winter Garden. Love the Theatre & Love Pastor David & Emmaus Church & Emmaus Band!
