Comment: Been attending since August of 2022. At first, like with most groups of people, it was difficult to feel at home. (Some churches go overboard trying to welcome you. I appreciate the effort, but it can feel fake.) Here, people were just generally polite, and that was fine.When I started going to small groups, it all opened up! I started getting to know people and they started getting to know me. Im really enjoying the people and often linger, just not anxious to leave them.A couple of observations:1) The Bible knowledge of several men in the church is incredible. Its obvious theyve spent a lot of time reading it.2) The women are so loving! They regularly reach out to people in need. Women can generally be so petty at times, but Im just not seeing it here. People are human, and I dont expect perfection. But these women are something to aspire to.Love the pastor. His messages are practical and he adds just enough humor to keep you engaged. He seems to really enjoy his calling.I highly recommend visiting and checking out some small groups! Theres likely at least one or two that you will thoroughly enjoy.
