Comment: I visited 1st Baptist Church of Umatilla for several months while I tried to help my sister after she lost her husband. It was a challenging time and 1st Baptist was always the favorite part of my week.. I have a church, but I enjoyed visiting 1st Baptist so much that I watch your service during the week or after my church on Sundays.it is a wonderful spirit filled church with many very kind members. I ♥️ Your Church.GOD continue to bless your church as you continue to spread the gospel of Jesus..

Comment: Awesome church that covers every area if you are a Christian seeking to do life with other believers or if you are seeking to know more about Jesus and the Christian faith. Great youth group for kids 6-12th grade and dynamic youth pastor. Pastor Brooks preaches from the Bible and is passionate about how to equip believers to live the Christian life in a fallen world. There are plenty of life groups for adults to get involved in and everyone is friendly. Missions work is going on locally, nationally, and around the world with the church giving money directly and organizing groups to go serve. Anyone posting anything negative as a review just isnt being open to all that is offered or willing to give it a chance.

Comment: To much smoke machine. The preaching is Bible based. Pastor Brookes is great. I believe in the moving and operation of the Holy spirit. Unfortunately I dont believe that they believe in it.I still come to service but would like a church like Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.

Pastor Brooks I havent been let down once as far as sermons and the music and the band are fantastic... They offer many things for all needs... Give it a shot you wont regret it

Comment: I have been to numerous churches over my lifetime. Not until hearing an amazing pastors sermons that come deep from his heart and beliefs, that I felt the Lord in my heart! I was finally saved and Baptized 4 years ago at the age of 59. Pastor Brooks has the spirit of God in his heart and along with his sense of humor and incorporating stories of his family life into his sermons, helps me remember each and every sermon. I moved to Ocala 2 years ago and when I cant make it physically to church on Sundays, I always watch live from my phone. God, through Pastor Brooks, has changed my life for the better.

Comment: I volunteer at Lake Yale Conference Center some summers and always look forward to attending First Baptist Church if Umatilla. Pastor Brooks knows how to deliver Gods word affectionately. Comment: This is a very vibrant and growing church. Under the direction of Pastor Brooks for about the last eight or nine years this church has dramatically grown and expanded. This summer they have just hired a new youth minister. I really enjoy Pastor books a sermon. The service is on Facebook Sunday mornings. He preaches directly from the word and doesnt sugarcoat it, but he also is very funny.
