Pastor Neal is the best youth pastor we have ever had for our kids(19+ yrs). AWANA Clubs we’re amazing for our kids and super excited they are starting it up here. Most of the church consists of older people but they do have a great kids Sunday school area to bring your little ones, they all are so welcoming and awaiting new faces. Comment: Of all the pastors in the area Pastor Bill Frank has THE best reputation!! Proverbs 22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches and loving favor rather than silver and gold. He is a wonderful shepherd with a humble heart who genuinely loves people where they are and, as a result, has the loving favor of people throughout the community. At FBC PG people are not problems to be solved but rather hearts to be loved - and he loves well! They off the top-notch AWANAS program for kids with an amazing director who has 20+ years of experience & a phenomenal reputation. The worship team sounds fantastic and includes teenagers up to senior adults. Comment: Just over a year ago, I started attending this church. Truly I tell you this, a hidden gem. I am not talking about looks. I am talking about the warmth and welcoming of a church family. Although a small congregation, there are such giving hearts here. You know, the grandma hugs and warmth? That is what you get here. There are ministries growing here. A childrens ministry which they have Sunday School & childrens church on Sunday mornings. Children are learning to be future leaders in the church and serving our community. Wednesday nights they have a family style potluck (you never know what youll get but theres always enough) then later break up into small groups where friendships and discipleship grow. The youth group is growing as well and there are opportunities for teenagers to love, serve, and grow in Christ not only in the church itself, but also in the community. Who doesnt want their children and teens helping others? We all take value in that as parents. Food, you always have food at this church. They have a wonderful outreach on Tuesdays called the Horn of Plenty. Those who are in need can come and receive groceries and other household needs. Those who serve in that are always pleasant and welcoming. Are you a woman? They have a place for you too. All ages! Once a month on Saturday mornings, they have a breakfast. Hey guys, dont worry, they have one once a month for you too, just not on the same Saturday :) Music...well you have a mixture of gospel hymns and contemporary with an acoustic & bass guitar, drums, piano and beautiful voices to praise & worship the Lord! So dont be fooled by that bug white church on the corner of Gill and Virginia. There is much going on and you WILL feel the love of Christ in there. Worship service is at 11:00 AM Sundays. Come and join us! You may be typing up one of these kinds of reviews in a year from now! :) I am still here but dont let me convince you. See for yourself. Thanks for reading!
