Comment: If you’ve lost faith in the Church because far too many of us don’t look like the Jesus we claim to believe in…then you must visit First Love. Dennis and Heather are what pastors should look like, because they look exactly like the Jesus of the Scriptures in the way they love and care for people!

Comment: Such a beautiful place to worship. The Spirit of the Lord is in this place. Thank you so much for all the love of God I felt and saw when I came into this house of worship. What a heartwarming beautiful couple that serve Christ here. I want to thank all the beautiful people here that made me feel welcome and loved. I definitely would recommend this place as a place of worship and as a place of Truth fellowship

Comment: I love this church! This is an inter generational congregation with room for everyone. Practicing gender equality, and beliefs in equality for all. Nice space, good people, great pastors. It’s a great place to volunteer in our local community. I’m glad to be a part.

Comment: I have known Ms Heather for many years but reconnected about six years ago at First Love ❤️ I am not a resident of Ocala but come back on occasion for several months at a time!!!! I have always been impressed with the diversity of the assembly and their amazing praise team!!!!! Where can you go and get doubly blessed by tandemLeadership who share the same message and spirit Together at the same time!!!!!! I have also been fortunate to join in the monthly “outreach” program w/1st Love to help donate food/gifts & Prayer/consult as needed!!!!I have always felt welcome and unconditionally loved here through my faults and struggles !! I am constantly encouraged letting me know how much I am loved by my Heavenly Father who knew me before I was even in the womb and Had a purpose for my life !! Amen!!In addition, Holy Communion Is offered Every week ......this is a healing testament to what Jesus brought to us ........Please partake of your Master for you and your loved ones!!

Comment: Where to even begin? With Love that is. The name of this Church really represents and embodies everything that both pastors stand for. Coming from Catholicism this church has become home in more ways than one. Ive never found a Church where Ive felt at home, and at peace. At First Love I was not only welcomed, but they remembered my name. They remembered my kids names. Theyve built bonds with all of their members because we are one family. We arent the fanciest Church in Ocala but, rest assured we have the most love. My husband and I feel like we are misfits of the world and yet we have a place where we go every single week. We are known by name by all of the members and we are loved. Here at First Love both husband and wife preach and its a dynamic that you dont get to see often. I enjoy going to Church because I can actually understand the word of the Lord thanks to Heather and Dennis. I cannot say enough good things about this Church so instead, why dont you stop by and say hi! We will be there to say welcome home!

Comment: This church is where I found my faith. It’s where I was taught what love was. They are real, non judgmental, kind, helpful, and I couldn’t have found a better place to worship Jesus. Heather and Dennis Drake and their family mean the world to me and the words they preach are not adulterated, but the Word. So grateful for this church. They celebrate community and family and love the way Jesus loved.

Comment: This church is a phenomenal place to come together with other people from all walks of life and worship and fellowship together. The pastors are loving and caring, the worship is fantastic, the church body really cares for each member, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I have found a second home at First Love Church and I advise anyone and everyone who is looking for a church home to visit this one! You wont regret it!

Comment: I love this small congregation. The husband and wife team who preach are so cute together as they share the love of our Lord. They combine knowledge with wit as they share their own life experiences and knowledge of Gods Word as written in the Bible. This is nondenominational which I love and was what originally drew me to this church. Everyone has been welcoming and inviting as a newcomer. If you are looking for a new church to call home and are not fond on the big churches give this church a try it surely will not disappoint you!Thank you guys for making me feel welcome 🙏
