Comment: Coming from out of state, I had no where I could call my home away from home. GICC took me in with open arms and their generosity made my transition so much smoother. The call to higher standards is evident in the actions of everyone in the congregation. I love the family that I have joined and will be inviting anyone I interact with daily!

Comment: My life is forever changed! I had been searching for a church home in Gainesville and had no idea where to go. One day I was studying in the Reitz Union and two lovely ladies approached me and asked me if I wanted to do a Bible study. I thought finally God had answered my prayers and, I was immediately ready to get closer to Him. When I attended the church for the first time I was immediately met with love. The sisterhood that I found here is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. They are so caring and willing to help you with anything that you may be going through, they are such self-less and honorable people. I love this church and the way that they love God, as well as follow His word!

Comment: All I can say is WOW! This is a church were you can see and feel God moving in a powerful way. The members are genuine, loving, and welcoming. This a church where the members really are trying to restore 1st C Christianity through living it out and calling each other to do the same. You will not find any watered down gospel or cutting corners here.

Comment: A wonderful place to worship God with your whole heart, mind, and spirit. The zeal will inspire you to worship God. It is the place to go in Gainesville, FL to hear the truth about who God is and what he wants for your life. I went one time and never stopped going. It has been three years since that first worship service. It is Gods church in Gainesville. Many different races (all Nations}. If you have a heart for God you just have to come and worship at least once.

Comment: I was invitied,by a loving member, to come out to a bible discussion. This simple gesture was the best thing that happened to me in college. I remember the first time I went out to a Sunday Worship service. I still remember who was preacdhing, what was preached, the location the service was held at, who spoke for communion that day, who got baptized that day, the conversations I had that day and who led the songs that day. My first experience was just so memorable. The love of the church is just that powerful. And now every single day, Im making more awesome memories with the church! What I also appreciat is that EVERYONES conviction comes from the Bible. And EVERYONE follows the Bibles standard.

Comment: Gainesville International Christian Church is a wonderful organization of disciples of God. They value fellowship and spreading the true Gospel. When I first met the brothers I thought I was saved, but they revealed to me that I was actually still in darkness. I was baptized and now I live a life for God. They encourage me and help me grow in my faith every day. The brothers and sisters are a really tight knit group that truly love each other and care about each other. I highly reccommend this Church to any students looking to learn more about the Bible and how to be a true disciple.

Comment: This church reminds me of the scripture of the pearl that the merchant sold everything he had to obtain it. I am grateful to God for bringing me to this church. For most of my life I believed in God and wanted to exemplify the lifestyle of a true christian but never knew how. I had the heart but no sense of direction. Here I learned what it truly means to be a man of conviction and live sold out for God everyday. I came here looking for biblical truth, but found so much more than that! I found the truth and an amazing loving family that I cannot imagine myself without!

Comment: This is the best church ever. I am forever grateful for the stranger who walked up to me my freshmen year at UF and asked me if I wanted to go to church with her. Since I first started coming, I have felt nothing but love and encouragement from everyone here! They call me to the standard of the Bible and keep me accountable. I have never experience this type of support in any other church. I even met my wonderful fiancé here! Praise God that he led me to His Kingdom here at the Gainesville International Christian Church.

I was kind of alone living in Gainesville for school, but this the members of this congregation became family with such genuine love. They taught me how to follow God in a biblical way, which ultimately, changed my life forever! I’m currently a part of our sister church in a different city, but the GICC will always have my heart! I highly recommend it to anyone & everyone

I really appreciate how this church is bible-based, deriving sermons, teachings, and lifestyle from the scriptures. Comment: This Church is really Awesome!! Ive never felt so loved in my life upon meeting this group! The singing is amazing, the speakers are very passionate and the sermon is incredible convicting! The couple that lead this group are super down to earth and welcoming also quite funny! Id recommend for anyone looking for a great group with an awesome campus ministry on UF campus and really wanting a place they can call home

Comment: I love this church!! Ive been attending the GICC for almost five years and I feel so at home, with being at Santa Fe College and now UF. Plus they preach and obey the Bible FULLY... Ive never seen that until coming here. Seriously, check it out... you wont regret it! (They even do personal Bible studies and small discussions, ANYWHERE & ANYTIME.) Sooo many forever friendships made!
