Comment: Ive been church-hopping for the majority of my life, until I found this place. I started out going to their Youth Group, then attending the church services. It took a while to get comfortable, but this church made it easy. The atmosphere is wonderful- everyone is friendly, and its not a large church, maybe 500 members tops, so there are familiar faces everywhere. I was involved in Community Groups, which was another wonderful way to make meaningful relationships with good Christian people.Their worship isnt presented as a show, but rather a time to sing together with your spiritual family. The songs are easy to follow and fun to sing. I got involved serving in Kidzone with my mother, and that was, and still is, one of the best things Ive ever done. Teaching the kids about the Bible was good for them, but also great for my relation ship with my mom and with God. Pastor Mario is fantastic, as is every sermon he preaches. Unlike big churches, he was a friend, someone I could talk to about anything, no just the Word. Could not recommend this place more. Love these guys.

Comment: According to bestplaces.net, only 35.4% of Ocala is religious. I have a message for the other 64.6% - Jesus loves you! I was born and raised in Ocala and have never had a teacher like Mario. He makes the Bible easy to understand and provides wisdom from Jesus that we can use in everyday life. He has a great sense of humor and is very theatrical. I could listen to his sermons all day long! OH WAIT I do! Good News is on Spotify and YouTube so you could take a listen before you visit. COME AND SEE :)

Comment: I LOVE Good News of Ocala! Pastor Mario is an excellent teacher, and is clearly led by the Holy Spirit! At Good News, the teaching is usually a verse by verse study through a book in the Bible, although at times the teaching can be topical. Mario is not afraid to address those difficult subject areas as they are presented within Bible context. Good News Church is by far my church choice in Ocala, Florida!

Comment: It was my first time at Good News Church, and what a wonderful experience as a newcomer. Everyone was welcoming, especially Mr. Ron. The music was beautiful, and the sermon was a positive outlook for the new year. It seemed to be a wonderful community of people. I think I found my new home. I cant wait to attend service next week!
