Comment: FOUND the Needle in the Haystack! THE MOST GENUINELY WELCOMING CHURCH weve ever been to! So many different members came & said hi & introduced themselves & it was REAL, unforced, not awkward, just real people that were happy to have some guests--like you were visiting a good friends home. It was a truly diverse crowd of different ages & backgrounds where everybody was like a big family...without all of the clique stuff you usually see. Weve been trying to find the RIGHT church for us. Our family has 3 boys (3, 6, & 9) and to find a KJV bible based church, that has music (in hymnals!!! I like to read when I sing so Im not off key) & has it in print format too for the rest of my family, and has a mix of traditional piano music with with slightly more modern (more like southern gospel) contemporary music without a huge production of lights & effects ...& pure transforming bible based preaching sprinkled with modern stories to easily to apply to your life, PLUS a well & ALIVE healthy kids program, potlucks, etc, its the ULTIMATE rare combination. And there were many other kids & families and all different ages. So happy to have stumbled across this church. Very easy to feel at home, nothing forced, just come, & be, and grow. Easy to see why God has BLESSED this church for so many years to be where it is today. 😊 HIGHLY RECOMMEND to check out if youre considering trying to find your new church home or just visiting.

Comment: Last Sunday was my very first time and found this Church to be a warm and welcoming. I could feel God there, I exhaled at that point but the people were warm and friendly to me. I brought my special needs son with me and he had a great big smile on his face which spoke volumes to me as well. Whoever played the piano and whoever played the organ was excellent! The character of the Church is so important to me as I must hear from the Bible, and I heard The Bible says .I have been in many denominations prior however, never a Baptist one so I had no idea what to expect. The liturgical order was very familiar to me and filled my tank for the week. Folks were real nice to answer any questions I had. The best part was that there were folks that got saved right there with water at the end of Pastor Sextons Service. I loved the music very much! Tonight they have a Bells concert! If you dont know God and His GOOD NEWS start at John 3:16-17 and also find a Church of God. I found one and you can too! God is SO GOOD! Be Blessed!

Comment: This is the church to go to if you want to learn as much as possible about Jesus. If youre looking for worldly entertainment, feel free to go elsewhere. You wont find that here. If you want the Gospel, the truth, and some good old fashioned Jesus, this is where you will find it. The Pastor is a kind, sweet, God loving man who keeps your interest for the whole sermon. People love people here. Its a great church to become a member of. I really have enjoyed myself these last 2 years! Many members travel from out of the area to attend, its just that good. So glad to be a member of Gulf Coast Baptist.
