Comment: I would like to start by saying I do not attend this church regularly. I have shown up for events. My daughter got to go to their trunk or treating event and had fun. We were happy that we stopped in and thankful it was offered. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because I felt it would be unfair to give 5 stars to a church that I have not attended a service for. Im not sure how that is or how good the pastor is, so I did not believe I could give an informed 5 star rating.

Comment: We didnt went for Trunk or Treat not a service. The grounds were so beautiful and well kept. Everyone was very kind. I can highly recommend the vibe of this church as an outsider.

Comment: Welcoming and friendly atmosphere, beautiful music, relevant and Gospel-inspired sermons, all invited to come as you are to the table! Contemporary 9:30 Service for me, but Traditional Services at 8:00 and 11:00 also lovely! Free child care, Childrens Church!

Comment: We love this church. We have been attending as guests of this church since Feburary of 2017. From top to bottom, the people who operate this place of worship have been so friendly, supportive and wonderful to pray and grow spiritually with. Pastor Mike is a great speaker and teacher of the word of God. Pastor Mike delivers in a powerful and relatable way. He also injects plenty of humor in his speeches.Our two young sons just completed the vacation bible school this past week. The boys learned so much and had a great amount of fun in the process. All of the volunteers were quite helpful teaching and entertaining the children during the week. We thank each and everyone who devoted their time to this event.Come and see for yourself what Gulf Cove United Methodist church has to offer you and your family. You will not be disappointed.

Comment: When we moved here in 2007, the plan was to attend several churches before deciding on our home church. However, it only took one visit to GCUMC to know this is where we belong. The members are involved in many activities and ministries, and I am able to help with many things. Everyone is so friendly, and prayers are always offered when they are needed. Jesus truly is the center of everything at Gulf Cove UMC.

Comment: It is a great place that has all my worship needs. I wouldt go anywhere else. Gulf Cove is a great place to worship Jesus Christ. It also has a good childrens program from birth to adulthood .

Comment: I know it seems weird to write a review of your own church, but this is what Ive found: this is a church that remembers why it is a church. 26 years ago the people of Englewood UMC felt a nudge from God to share the grace of God in this area, It has not been easy over the years, but they have always remembered why they started. Today, when we start getting bogged down with minutia and details, we still have people who say, Remember why we started this church? Its not about us - its about reaching people for God. This helps keep Gulf Cove UMC from becoming stagnant and self-centered. I love these people!
