Comment: We worship with Hope on the Beach church every Sunday we are in Santa Rosa Beach (which is usually monthly!). Pastor Jason’s messages are solid in the Word of God and their praise and worship is always inspiring and uplifting. It is really exciting to see the number of worshippers who turn out to praise God and hear from His Word on the beach! While we love to come to Santa Rosa Beach we also always look forward to Sunday mornings with Pastor Jason.

Comment: This church is truly genuine and full of love, care, and compassion. Pastor Jason and his wife along with the entire Hope family have always made me and my husband feel welcomed and loved. Sermons are taught in a way to understand and apply to your life and you’ll always have a welcoming face at any of their service locations, whether it’s on the beach, Shunk Gulley, or their building. We call this our church home and are so glad we found them when we moved here.

Comment: A community of believers in Christ who want to share the hope and truth of the gospel with others and give opportunity to grow deeper in your faith . They meet in 3 different locations on a Sunday morning my favorite place is right on the emerald Coast right on the beautiful beach! Feet in the white sand most beautiful emerald water to see as you worship with songs and hear the preaching of the Word of God uncompromised. They also share communion on the beach. Im so grateful the Lord is working through this community of believers at this time in this special way.

Ive enjoyed their Easter sunrise on the Beach a few times and a regular Sunday worship or two as well and always feel part of the family. The pastor definitely delivered Gods truth from the Bible in a friendly and understandable way. Comment: I was walking the bike/walking path on 30A and saw an advertisement for church on the beach. We decided to go and we really enjoyed it. It was held at Shunk Gulley. We felt welcomed, yet not hounded:) The worship was good. We really enjoyed the sermon as it was biblically sound and relevant. We would definitely go back the next time we are in town.

Comment: BEST church ever...Come to Hope on the Beach Church to be fed, learn, and grow.This is a Bible-based teaching church.Succinct, easy-to-understand messages are accompanied by a well organized church bulletin that has easy-to-follow, numbered talking points/scriptures.Each talking point/scripture allows space for personal note taking.The congregation is very inviting/welcoming/friendly.The worship music is joyful.The dress code at the beach services (I havent attended the brick and mortar church service) is relaxed.BONUS: View of the beach during 3 of 4 services.I LOVE HOPE ON THE BEACH CHURCH.I am NOT a morning person. So, I prefer to attend church between 10-11AM. But, when Im vacationing in Miramar Beach I usually attend the8 AM service held on the beach in Santa Rosa. Then I walk across the street to the second service at Shunk Alley at 9:20 AM.Because the service/teaching is just that good/strong at this judgment-free zone/church where I am made to feel welcome and comfortable.So, I ALWAYS leave this church service feeling satisfied ❤️And, when I go home to Alabama I oftentimes wish I could attend Pastor Jasons service.I would gladly travel one hour for the opportunity to worship/learn at Hope on the Beach Church.

I can go hide at any of the big churches in Destin, but when I go to this church, I am greeted by the pastor and the elders will talk to me and find out what is going on in my life. There is always something going on to be apart of. The pastor is available to meet and is not the unreachable type. If you are looking for a church to be disciples at, this is the place.

He was genuine, courteous, accepting, and the best representation of a church you can ask for. Pastor Jason wasnt just there, he was present and gave wonderful advice and service. Comment: I loved visiting Hope on the Beach Church. I travel and enjoy watching every Sunday online. Pastor Jason is very friendly and brings up great points in every sermon and leaves you with something to think about each week. I look forward to visiting every winter, or anytime I can make it south. Hope on the Beach Church is a no judgment zone, so stop by when your in the area, the staff is friendly and you cant beat the view!

Comment: We attended Hope on the Beach this year during our Spring break. It was an amazing experience! I had not been to any church on the beach previously. The people were so welcoming, the sermon was great and very much Biblically based, and the music was excellent! Overall, a wonderful time and I look forward to going back next time we are around the area.

Comment: Hope on the Beach is a loving faith family. Everyone is welcome at any of their Sunday services. They have two 8 a.m. beach services: one at Inlet Beach, Orange St. access and one at Ed Walline Beach access at the end of Hwy 393. Sunday worship is also held at 9:30 a.m. at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar.Their main campus on Hwy 98 hosts Sunday worship at 11 a.m.The friendliness of the people is heartwarming and both pastors deliver excellent sermons. Childrens worship is offered at the main campus on Sundays in conjunction with the 11:00 service ,and recently a new youth vicar joined their staff. We love attending Hope on the Beach and feel you will too. If youre looking for a local church or just visiting the area, come and visit.

Comment: Mark & Bonnie Schroeder-----This is a Bible-based church where Pastor Jason preaches the truth of the Gospel message, and Bible doctrine drawing us closer to Jesus and others. Faith without works is dead is emphasized in loving others. After attending, one feels the abundance of LOVE that a church family gives and receives.

Comment: The first time we visited Hope, Pastor Jason greeted us, answered questions and showed us around the 98 campus. We knew this was going to be our church home, which became our church family. It is a place where you can be blessed and you have the opportunity to bless others. You can be on the beach with your feet in the sand, dolphins in the water, and birds overhead, or outside under a tent at Shunk Gulley, or in the sanctuary at the 98 campus building. Plenty of choices and something for everyone! Come as you are! No judgement!

Comment: We have been going to Hope on the Beach Church for over 2 years now. We love going to the service and feel home when we are there! Every one is so warm and welcoming. No one judges when my 3 year old runs up to the alter and we have to scoop him back to his seat. My kids love the children sermons and the childrens church. They actually ask to go to church every week. The sermons are relatable to every day life and experiences and tie in into the word. The music is uplifting and enjoyable.

Comment: We have been members every since we came down to 30 A. Nothing better than to enjoy Sunday service on the beach. Pastor Jason along with Vicar Jacob make a great one- two punch and we also have a top notched singer guitarist- Jacob. We are located near Gulf Place. If you cannot make the 8:00 Beach service the next best thing is the 9:20 service held in the tent of Shunk Gulley Restaurant.

Comment: From the first time we visited Hope On The Beach we knew we were home. The staff is so loving and welcoming and every member takes the opportunity to make you feel like you’re home. When we moved to the area we knew that is where we wanted to call home as well. I love the opportunities that Hope has with Serving the community and tourist. Whether you have been a long follower of Christ or just walking the beach and hear something that resonates with you Hope welcomes you. I have always appreciated the come as you are policy, this allows those visiting an opportunity to join without feeling any pressure.

Comment: Hope is the one church that I have gone to that feels like home. From the moment you walk into the door and are greeted by friendly faces that dont know a stranger you feel like you belong.Hope has a variety of services that you can attend, two Beach services, one in the morning at Ed Walline and one in the evening at Whales Tale in Seascape. A service across from the beach at Shunk Gulley and one at their building on 98. So it doesnt matter where you like to worship, God is always surrounding you.Pastor Jasons sermons are the main reason I continued to go to Hope and why I became a member so you have to hear one to understand how they touch your soul in a way that makes you want to be alot more like Jesus and less like yourself. And the people that go to Hope, well they become family. So if your looking for a church home with all these aspects or just want to see what it is all about come visit Hope! All are welcome here.

Comment: We love Hope on the Beach Church! We started attending after building a new home and moving to the area in 2018. Pastor Jason Scheler always teaches Biblical truths that are relevant to the days we are living in. We were able to serve through Hope on the Beach to reach out to victims of Hurricane MIchael in 2019, and it has been truly a blessing for us to serve alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ at Hope on the Beach Church.

Comment: This is a great church that is Spirit led and fun; with great music, casual dress, and practical and Biblical preaching. I would highly recommend checking them out either on the beach or at their 98 Campus when it gets a bit chilly!
