Comment: Just moved to the westchase area and wanted to find a church in my area. I Googled ones near me and they were the first one I checked out. I listened to pastor John speak and everything he said resonated with me. Ive been going ever since. Got baptized there. Volunteered at a view events and everyone was really nice. I moved here for work and was let go after 3 months and no Indication anything was wrong. I had a hard time finding work so I reached out to them for prayers or any type of help. After a month or so and running out of money I started panicking. Finally I started getting interviews and got 3 offers right before I ran out of money to pay my rent. I planned on accepting the offers which werent bad but I had reservations about mostly the travel. I got contacted in the 25th hour by a gentleman who the church contacted me with and wouldnt you believe it, it was an amazing offer and even better it is only 20 minutes from my apartment. There us no doubt in my mind God wants me in westchase but most importantly at Journey church. I recommend anyone who is looking give them a chance. A true family atmosphere with genuine people. Im excited for my journey with journey.

Comment: I have lived in Tampa for 3 years and have looked for a church home while living here. I prayed earnestly asking God to lead me to a place where I could meet and connect with fellow believers. I was far from perfect and still wrestling with sin in my life. I found Journey Church from a google search and found a church home among people who loved God and loved the community. I was accepted as I was by the congregation and church leadership. Since making my home at Journey Church, God has begun a wonderful work in me and I am excited to be part of all that Journey Church is doing. I encourage all to come and see!!

Comment: I love Journey Church and my church family! Everyone is very welcoming, but not overwhelming. They are truly there for you, always providing love and encouragement, and Paster John always has a great message. The worship band is also awesome. Life can be hard and doesn’t always make sense, but it is much easier with my Journey family. I am very grateful for Journey Church!!

When you can focus on Jesus and the scriptures the light of the Holy Spirit will always shine through and it certainly does at Journey Church. Comment: The moment my husband & I walked into Journey Church it felt like home. On our first day we were greeted with genuine conversations & yummy donuts. People were conversational but not overwhelming. Worship music was contemporary & biblical truth was spoken about. After service Pastor John came up to us & introduced himself in hopes to get to know how he can be there for us. I could tell that he knew everyone’s name in the building & their story. If you’re looking for a church home where you can learn about God; be your true self & find community-Journey Church is worth checking out!

Comment: Been going to this church for more than a year. Pastor John is fantastic and his messages will touch your heart. Recently I had some health issues and the support my family received from our church family was tremendous. And one of the best things about this church is we meet people where they are and how they are. No judgement. Highly recommend you check Journey Church out!

Comment: My boyfriend and I have been attending Journey Church Westchase for about a year and I can truly say this place enhances your life and helps to connect you to God, by showing you how to have a more meaningful relationship with him. Its a casual, relaxed, come-as-you-are church and Pastor John is so funny. He has a gift of teaching scripture and explaining the messages and how it relates to YOUR personal life. When you walk in, there is always coffee and doughnuts. Every Sunday, i pick up sermon notes so I can write things down and share with my friends and family during lunches and dinners later in the week. The music is deeply moving and prepares your heart to receive the word. Its just the kind of church that fills up your empty voids. You begin to feel healing. This church makes you feel like you started your week on the right foot every time you go. I highly recommend that you come and see how special Journey Church Westchase is and how blessed your life will be by taking the 1st step of letting the healing light of God enter your life! Comment: Love my church and my church family. Pastor John is a great Pastor. I emailed the church for the first time to ask for a prayer request. And he took the time to call left a voice mail. He prayed for me. That says a lot. I get to church on Sundays and always greeted with a smile or a hug. If youre looking for a church, Journeys is the place to be.

Comment: Where to start? Journey truly demonstrates the heart of Jesus. When we moved to the area, It was hard for us to find a church that felt like home- but when we walked in the doors at Journey- there we were- home!Humble, full of love, kindness, and most importantly the word of God! Comment: I love Journey Church! Its one of my favorite places for so many reasons. Every Sunday I hear a message from Pastor John that speaks right to me and helps me grow in my faith. I love that the Word of God is preached in a way that I can understand and immediately apply to my life. The people that attend really care for each other like family and are quick to welcome new visitors to the Journey family and make them feel at home. The kids program is great too. The kids get time to play and do lessons, crafts and activities that center around the Bible and truths from it. I really love that they take time to pray with the kids in the childrens program too.

Comment: I am so grateful that I have found Journey church. I have been to many different churches over the years, and while all of them have been inherently good, Journey was the first to make me really feel like I had found a spiritual home. I love Pastor John, who has the gift of breaking down scripture and the word of God and delivering it in an impactful manner, which I am able to apply in my daily life. I enjoy the contemporary Christian music and fellowship every week...the Journey church members have become like family to me. I have definitely found grace, love, hope and my home at Journey.

Comment: Journey Church is the REAL DEAL!!! The people are incredibly welcoming. The message is uplifting, practical and deeply embedded in scripture. Pastor Johns passion for Christ is on display each week as he takes us on a Journey that shows us how to be more like Christ every Sunday and to carry our faith into our daily lives. The worship and praise team are also incredible. It is hard to believe this all takes place at a middle.school because the team at Journey transforms the space in such a beautiful and inviting way! Comment: Even though, I was a member of another church for years the fire inside had died. I was a small fish in a big pond not being fed. I knew there had to be something else as I had lost the passion and no longer being fed the word. I came across a posting from Journey Church in Westchase, my spouse and I decided to attend. We found what we were missing. We are being fed the word plus surrounded by people that really have become like family we are no longer a number of many just passing thru the door every week. We volunteer giving back to the community, The small group support each other. It’s special when you can reach out to your group any time and they are there. A pastor that is there for you not just on stage, he actually makes it, about your Journey not his! Do not get me started on the worship music! They are amazing. It’s a new church just starting out. How exciting to be part of the journey.
