The Wednesday Worship Service and Mosaic Woman are Amazing. I love Journey Church and how it helps in the community as well.

Comment: My husband and I attended for the first time with the invite coming from family. We were so impressed with our first visit, meeting and speaking with the pastor several times as well as being welcomed in a friendly, warm manner by others. The music was great, the message on target, and afterwards we visited the options for small groups. There was such a variety of options for the small groups which we found exciting! Comment: I have been at Journey for 5 years. I came as college kid looking for a church to plug into after moving to Jacksonville. I went to many places, but Journey was home day one. Pastor is not afraid to preach the truth and is engaging. The kids ministry is always exciting and building new disciples. Midde school meets on Sunday (The Bridge) and middle/high meet on Wednesdays at 7 (Journey Next Remix). The volunteers are really invested and pour their hearts out every week. Words cant describe the growth and family found here. Come check it out for yourself.

Comment: I love this church! My wife and I moved here in 2018 and were looking for a new place to worship that was as open, down-to-earth and real as our last church. Journey nailed it. They are so involved in the community, you can literally find a small group for almost anything if you want to serve. They have small groups that will help you learn about the bible and Jesus. One toe in, one toe out? Looking for serious answers to Christianity, and dont want people to blow smoke at you? The people at Journey are real. The pastors are real. They will take the time to sit down and talk with you, answer any and all of your questions, give you solid advice and at the very least, find you someone who can. The atmosphere is awesome and inviting. Great preaching, a good consistency of guest speakers and programs, and really good brotherhood and sisterhood. The child care is top-notch by far. Very secure, great volunteers with an excellent system in place to take care of the kiddos while you get your church on! Older kids can go to their Sunday school, better known as Journey Kids, The Bridge (middle school) and Remix (high school/middle school Wednesday nights) and these services are super interactive. Im always so impressed with the knowledge and questions my 4 year old son comes home with. Hes actually learning about Christianity, not just going through the motions. The church is very secure, they have an excellent and trained Incident Response Team, and trust me, they do their jobs well and take them very seriously! I would barely feel safer with JSO standing at the doors. I fully trust this church with my faith, my kids, and my families security. Ive never been so involved with a church as this. Lots of worship before service starts, so be prepared to sing!

Comment: We’re military, so we’re not from Jacksonville. We were unfamiliar with the area and decided to give this church a try because we had friends who attended. Our first Sunday we loved it! This is a great church! It’s nondenominational, so you don’t need to worry whether you’re baptist, Lutheran, or anything else! Just come with the desire to know Jesus! There’s a sense of community when you walk through the doors. Nobody is judging you, they’re just glad you’re here and welcome you to the family of Christ! There are small groups that you can sign up into to help you focus on different aspects of the Bible, which is also a great way to make lifelong friends! Just try this church out, get involved in a small group and I promise you’ll love it!

From the first time I attended in the old building on Blanding, to moving to another area and watching online, I pray for this church to always be my home. Ive suffered from church anxiety since I was about 10 and its so frustrating, but I have never felt ousted or uncomfortable at Journey, so if you have issues like I do, please give Journey a chance to show you what Love and Acceptance feels like. Comment: Great people, great pastors, lot of small group and the best youth group ever. This church does a lot of outreaches as to feed the homeless @salvation army. They also give clothes to the poor and homeless people @claire white. They give out school supplies to the kids in the neighborhood..lots and lots of thing to do @journey church. Come check is out you wont regret it.....this is a family church.

Comment: An awesome church to worship our Savior. You will be greeted with a warm smile and you are welcome with open arms. You can be assured of a great message. The kids church is the best I have ever seen. The Family ministry is having a Family day this Sunday and promises to be wonderful.

Comment: This church is the best! If you’re looking for GENUINE people, this is your church. If you’re looking for a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere, this is your church. If you’re looking for imperfect people trying their best to do life with Christ at the center, this is YOUR CHURCH. Pastor Eric and his wife, Mary Jo, are AMAZING. Just give Journey a visit, get yourself plugged in and you’ll see what I mean. Also, they have wonderful child care and their Youth program is awesome too!

Comment: LOVED the Praise & worship music. Will definitely recommend, as the Bible is preached in TRUTH and LOVE. I must say, I was impressed with the diversity of the congregation. Our first visit and it felt like HOME. So glad our kids call this their home!

Comment: What can I say about Journey? First off, Pastor Eric is someone you want to help lead you in this life. He is real, non-judgmental, and his teachings are very easy to follow and you know they are from God. Mary Jo (his wife) is just ONE of the people that will make you feel like you’re at home. This is a place where you can be your authentic self and also gain the tools to grow into a better person daily. I love Journey ❤️

Comment: I have followed Journey Church since 2011, when i was bed ridden with my pregnancy of my son...their powerful online community reached out to me in my time of serious need and they paid me personal attention and I have nothing but praises for Pastor Eric and his church.... he is real and raw and down the Earth with the messags from our maker! He is family oriented and that includes his church family and for him to follow Gods direction and still be growing today is exactly what I expected and am so happy to see! Clay County loves Journey!

Comment: The 1st time I visited Journey Church, I felt so welcomed. The members are friendly and helpful and Pastor Eric always delivers a powerful and meaningful message. Sunday service starts off in praise and worship and ends with a powerful word to carry you thru the week. There are several ministries to be a part of. Theres a 9:15 Service for the early risers and 11:15 Service for the normal people lol. My heart, mind, and spirit is always at peace after attending Journey. Im looking forward to becoming a member in the near future so I can be a part of the Journey family. Awesome church to be a part of!

Comment: I play on the keys, and my time at Journey over the last 2 years has made an impact on me and the people around me. It shaped my character as a young man and led me to be a leader in Christ. I am a Follow the Bible type of person and am pretty cautious when it comes to churches, as we all know, some are prosperity types, but Journey is aligned with the will of God and makes disciples of the nations. Comment: This is the best church ever. It is a great environment where you feel welcome. I remember watching the services online while I was deployed to Afghanistan and the pastors where always saying to me over the internet during the service. I deal with certain conditions due to my deployment and this is a place where I feel comfortable and Im in peace. If you are looking for a church, Journey is the place for you. They preach what is in the Bible and that is priceless.
