Comment: Beautiful parish, I was at Sunday mass in English, there is also one at one pm. In Spanish... spacious, well ventilated, with accompanying brochure in English and Spanish... I recommend it, it offers a lot of peace and tranquility...

Comment: This is our HOME BASE CHURCH. THIS HOUSE OF GOD HAS KEPT TRUE TO ITS OLD SCHOOL WAYS. Teaching the true word of god, and do NOT interpret THE BIBLE in a way THAT CATERS TO THEIR own personal beliefs. ONE THING I APPRECIATE IS THAT THEY ARE NOT ASKING FOR MONEY OR OFFERINGS AFTER EACH SENTENCE, LIKE THE MEGA CHURCHES. I LOVE THAT THEY HAVE KEPT THE RELIGIOUS STATUES FROM WHEN THE CHURCH WAS BUILT IN THE LATE 1940,S. THIS CHURCH IS BEAUTIFUL, AND A GREAT PLACE TO COME AND PRAY, ANYTIME YOU FEEL THE NEED. AS YOU WALK IN, YOU WILL INSTANTLY FEEL AT PEACE, AND FEEL GODS LOVE. THE CHOIR THAT SINGS ON SUNDAY, DURING THE 2ND MASS IS TRULY PHENOMENAL. NOT TO MENTION THE ORGAN/PIANO PLAYER IS QUITE TALENTED. THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT MASS TIMES ON SUNDAYS. PLENTY OF PARKING. GREAT CHURCH!

Comment: Little Flower was my familys church and my school from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. I received my First Holy Communion there in 1968 when I was in 2nd Grade and my Confirmation in 1974 when I was in 8th Grade. We had mostly wonderful Nuns during that time with a few lay teachers mixed in. We experienced several major changes during Vatican II - the two that really stood out were our Nuns no longer had to wear their full and heavy habits, which given that the school classrooms had no air conditioning, must have been miserable in the Florida heat and humidity! They were now allowed to wear more casual habits - a skirt, a cotton blouse and their veils - much cooler! And, the Mass was no longer said in Latin - so we could actually understand what was being said! One of our 7th grade lay teachers started having guitar Masses on Fridays with students playing guitars.Our class has amazingly remained close over the past 55+ ,years since we graduated and we even had a 30 Year Class Reunion in 2004! Our classmates came from all over the country I was the farthest away here in California. On the Sunday of that reunion weekend, a large group of us attended Sunday Mass together, which was so moving for us, there were so many tears of joy. Deacon Watkins, (who when we were in school was just Mr. Watkins), took us all on a tour of the school - which was so incredibly amazing - more tears as we found our classrooms and sat in our old desks. The Sun-Sentinel even did a story about us (attached here). The major common theme among classmates was this; our years at Little Flower were some of the best years of our lives. I hope the generations of students who followed us and will continue into the future will feel the same way. Comment: I visit here for the coffee extravaganza. They treat the sanctum after mass, and serve the poor in an even to mixed crowd. I wish I could appreciate their services more, but I couldnt find someone as devoutly Catholic as them. As a Buddhist, I hold no qualms with interreligious and multicultural exposure. Definitely a beautiful architecture, the best architecture this side of town. I hope their services are as beautiful.
