Comment: For several years Ive been to quite a few churches praying to find one to call home. Either the sermons didnt align with what I know to be true in my spirit, or the church was all about money, for whatever reasons per those churches I never made them my home and continuously prayed for a home church. For weeks New Day was on my heart. God even moved us 5 minutes away (eliminate my procrastination). I finally went before the hurricane . I walk into worship and just cried. It was like water met the desert. I have continued to go back and each time watching, hearing, seeing the humility, the Christ like spirit, hearing the truth spoken in love, the genuinity, I knew immediately this is the place God wants me for the here and now. I have 4 children. 3 of them attend with me and I love the organization for them and their rooms. I lost my vehicle during the hurricane but as soon as I am able I want to become more involved, become an official member and serve Christ in any way He wants! I do wish there was more worship or maybe some sole worship groups where we can just bask in the Lords presence for longer. It is a large church and I worry about being able to connect with people and families but Ill soon see what groups they offer for that.

Comment: Such a wonderful Church to come to. Our first time visiting a couple of weeks ago we were welcomed by a very nice member with a beautiful coffee mug and gift bag. We were given great information and he answered all our questions we had. We felt very much welcomed and at home. The music service is great! Very inspiring 👏! The message that day was touching and well delivered!A few days after our visit the church came by to give us a gift of cookies and coffee. Found out they made the cookies at the church! They were amazing! Cant wait to go back again. We just moved here but I am positive we found a new home church. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed here!

Comment: I have been attending here for a few years now and although I am quiet and not really involved in the church like I should be.I really think this is where God has lead me. Pastor Rusty and the the whole staff have been excellent in preaching and teaching the word.The music and worship is really excellent as well. How the church functions and is managed with transparency is solid. The childrens church program (pre covid, I cant speak to this during covid) is good and I appreciate the rooms for childrens church have glass to see into the rooms. The facilities are also really great, including ease of parking! People are friendly! I like that the church is non denominational. Doctrine is sound and traditional. LOVE SO MUCH that the Lords Supper is given at EVERY service! They dont even pass a plate for weekly giving anymore ...they just trust that people will give. I Iike that I can give easily on the app literally in 2 minutes...so simple!!Jesus is exalted here...the most important thing of course!!Is the church perfect? Thank God no! If it was perfect then as soon as a sinner like me walked in I would mess everything up!I would say that it seems that the body of Believers here are mature and from every age group, background and status. Isnt that how the Lord would want it too?When I was going thru difficult times with a family member a pastor called and followed up with me...all based on a prayer request I sent in online. That meant a lot to me and really helped. God answered my prayers during that season and prayers made all the difference!!I thank God for New Day and cant recommend this church enough...and that after visiting several others in Port Charlotte...most of which are also good churches to attend with your family.

By the skinniest, boldest, most engaging and dynamic young pastor I had ever met; namely, Jamie Sneider. (sp?)The core of this church, the people who grew this church, have the heart of Christ. It’s palpable. Pastor Rusty Russell and crew are captivating with their messages. They are real. And they are strictly Bible based teachers. Interdenominational, come as you are, and just listen. We looked around at different churches for awile trying to find one like are home church and this one fit the bill..everyone is so nice here and just feels like family. Pastor rusty is the the nicest person you could meet he knows his stuff and you can tell he cares about what he is doing..were so glad there is a satruday service now we had to work on Sundays we would do 8hrs of work in 2hrs so we could get there on time so this is a big help..also everyone here always talks to you I think paster shacks my hand every weeks wich is nice becues it shows hes cares.the band is awsome the music they pick always makes me motivated everytime we go keep it up new day dont change a thing see you tonight....if you need a church this is the one to choose we drive 30 mins to get here and its worth it..

Comment: The people are very nice. Very welcoming. The youth pastor is very friendly. The spirit is right in the church. We have been here 4 years and this is the first one I have attended where the spirit felt right and the people seemed happy you came. My 3.5 year old loved it!

Comment: New Day Christian Church has been a home away from home for the past 6 years for my family. Its an absolutely amazing church! The pastor preaches from the bible, is an amazing servant of God, and we look forward to learning more from him every week. The staff is absolutely the kindest and gentle hearted. The childrens program is one of the best for my kids. Oh and the coffee is always hot 😉

My neighbor recommended NewDay Church and we havent gone anywhere else since.It feels like home, the people are nice, Pastor Rusty Russell teaches from the Bible and the small groups are great too.My wife and I give NewDay 2 thumbs up!
