Comment: I attended the Charis House Womens Rehabilitation Program from 2019-2021. This church was the open door to my saving grace, JESUS!! They all welcomed me with open arms, and no judgment. Very biblical teaching. And what they do for the community in Pensacola is beyond expectation. This church will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️

Comment: Amazing church, thats spot on with The Message of God. Pastor Traylor does a brilliant job of sharing the good news in both a scholarly and relatable format. Every Sundays sermon has depth and improves my understanding and relationship with Jesus. Revival is happening here, God bless this church and its members.

Comment: I will say that when you first come into the church service the orchestra/band is blasting music to where you cant even socialize. It is nice for the first few moments before church starts to unwind/peacefully socialize with others. Was almost near impossible with the loud orchestra blasting you out of the room. I liked it a lot better when it was more contemporary awhile back. The music is starting to go in the opposite direction and become more traditional. Also dont particularly care for how people shout amen in an authoritative/almost showing off tone. There was a lady sitting behind me that would not hush during the 11 am service that caused me to get up and leave. She kept shouting amen in a rude/mean way. Just know, the holier than thou attitude is not appreciated. Also miss the singles program. That was the one thing that I used to enjoy. Now, it is near impossible to plug in as a single person. You are missing an entire group of people that could grow the church exponentially. Leaving 5 stars because the pastor is good and his preaching is on point.

The associate Pastor Sean Pillay (sp) is good, specially with the community outreach. We decided to make our personal commitment and have moved our membership to Olive Baptist. God is Good.

Comment: If youre looking for:-Gospel-centered preaching-Sound teaching-Real Community (despite its large size)-Excellent Programs for all ages-Pastoral Staff that genuinely care for their members and communitythen come to Olive Baptist church. We are a military family and have been to a lot of churches before. This one by far is the most welcoming! Pastor Traylor is an excellent orator and is faithful to preach from Scripture regardless of whether or not it clashes with the culture. Our kids love their experience at Olive. The environment is both clean and safe. They have a wide variety of programs for the whole family. The worship is blended which suits the multi-generational dynamic of the church. Dress ranges from casual to dressy - come as you are! Pastor Traylor often talks about how its about the inward and not the outward.

Comment: Great people, awesome preaching! Really great choir and orchestra. Was my first time and I really enjoyed it. Didnt feel out of place at all. Pastor was nice and fun to listen to. Worship was great, not too long, sounded real nice. 2 services is nice depending on the time you want to go. Older croud in the first, younger in the second.

Comment: I am a disabled woman in my late 50s and I am unable to get out to attend church services, I was looking for a church I could find online streaming live and I came across Olive Baptist Church and decided to listen in and watch the services. I enjoyed the services, the songs, the word led by Dr. Ted Traylor, I decided to watch again the following Sunday and thereafter... Each Sunday, I am so moved by the songs and the word given by Dr. Traylor. as well as, special speakers on other given Sundays. I sing right along with the choir and the church song minister. the love I feel that each one has for each other in the way they speak and feel about their church I would say that this would be the church I would want to attend every Sunday if I was able to, If you do not have a home church and are from the Pensacola/Warrington, FL area this is the church I would recommend and for those of you who cannot attend services, each Sunday they live steam the services giving those who are home bound the opportunity to worship the Lord through their website to livestream the services and be a part of their weekly worship services....

Comment: Very nice facilities and an experienced staff. It is refreshing to see such a wonderful Reformed Theology Church boldly teach the doctrines of grace and predestination. Pastor Traylor has helped me to understand how Calvinism is actually a good thing and how it reflects Gods mercy on those he has chosen to bless. I used to look at it the other way around. Since attending this church I have become a faithful tither and now follow Gods command to turn over the first 10% of my income to the storehouse. It has been difficult but I know this will lead to blessings in my life which is far better than the curses promised in Malachi to those who do not tithe. I recommend this church to all my friends here in Pace and Pensacola.

Comment: Olive Baptist Chrurch is a larger church with a large heart. They have classes for all age groups. Including cubbies - preschool, awanas - elementary, fusion - middle school, zone - high school, and classes for adults and college students. Pastor Ted Traylor really follows after God, teaches great surmons, and provides an example of how we should live so we may glorify God. Theres is a library with hundreds if not thousands of books, a gym, and a ROC (recreational outreach center). And they opened a new wing of the Church called the 678 building for middle schoolers. It truly is a wonderful church and I would diffenetley recommend attending.

Comment: Absolutely phenomenal church! Childrens program is above and beyond, The music is out of this world, the pastor is terrific, and the sports program was great! I highly recommend this church to anyone looking for a Godly place to worship the Lord.

Comment: My wife and I joined Olive in 1998. Luke-warm Christianity described our salvation at best. Thanks to Christ and great leadership from Pastor Traylor and many others in the church our spiritual maturity has grown exponentially over the years. They left judgement to God and focused on loving us and our 2 daughters. Now we teach and desciple others in the way our Lord Jesus Christ would have them go. Thanks Olive for loving us.

Comment: We started going to Olive two thousand four with the Fl Baptist Children,s Home Children as their house parent. This church family is amazing, they really care about people they have so many ways to minister to people in need in all kinds of ways. I love the live stream when we cannot be there we can still connect and watch. If you are not part of a church family I highly recommend Olive as a church for you. You will fill the Lords presence at this church. Also get involved in a Sunday School group that is where you really make friends with people and find out the love of the church family.
