Comment: Our daughter has attended Palma Ceia United Methodist Day School since August 2022. I was hesitant to start her in pre school due to severe food allergies and a speech delay but it has been the best thing we have done for her. Since day one I have felt incredibly comfortable leaving her on campus and have watched her blossom into a confidant and incredibly happy little girl! Her teachers are absolutely incredible and take her food allergies seriously which gives me major peace of mind. Our daughter absolutely LOVES all of her teachers, classmates and the entire community. Every SINGLE time we drive by she yells stop school and wants to be dropped off. I have had an absolutely wonderful experience and cannot wait to have our son attend as well. I feel so fortunate to be part of such a nurturing, loving community. I highly recommend PCUMDS!! Best decision we have made!

Comment: We moved my twin four year olds to this school for VPK. We have been so happy at PCUMDS! The teachers are very caring and the coursework is a perfect blend of being appropriately challenging and lots of fun. This school is special because they are always celebrating holidays and creating community events where parents are encouraged to attend. I’ve especially loved going to weekly chapel with my daughters’ class where they sing and learn about Jesus. We have met so many other families through the school and will be sending our younger daughter there next year. We are so grateful to have found PCUMDS and know that our big girls are thoroughly prepared going into Kindergarten!

Comment: My 2 kids attended PCUMDS from 2018-2021. The staff was welcoming, kind, caring, consistent and fun! I found the curriculum to be age appropriate and engaging; leaving my kids well prepared for kindergarten. This school was such a blessing to our family and a safe space we will always treasure.

Comment: We felt welcomed and the sanctuary is beautiful. We went for the traditional service, which was very traditional. I love the coffee station in the courtyard!

Comment: This beautiful gem of a church embraces traditional classical music and liturgy that continues the common thread of worship extending back 2000 years. The physical structure of the church with its stained glass windows, especially the rose window in front of the church give it an old world feeling, and the rich woods that decorate the front of the church speak to the solidity of the foundation of the organization. A magnificent pipe organ and superb organist are not simply window dressing or provide walking music- the works of the classical masters in their labors to express the power, grace, and glory of God through the music is not lost on this congregation. They appreciate the assuredness of the tradition in worship and the composers that dedicated their lives to producing moving and beautiful music. If you want a church where you can close your eyes and feel the very notes permeating your soul, this is the place in Tampa Bay to consider as a church home.

Comment: This church is amazing...Just one bit of little insight: I mentor a special needs adult on Sundays and they couldnt be more kind and loving to both him and me. My friend is now even an acolyte at the 11 am service. Talk about inclusiveness! Thank you for all you do!

Comment: The P.C.U.M.C. has undergone staff change! It is a new a better place now we have room to grow now and still have a little park space left. The Day School is one of the best in town for little ones and are older ones too. Its sad when retired staff only wants to hurt the place that has loved and feed them. But the people have loved some for over 20 years. Me they have love over 10

Comment: Location was beautiful. Mary Steele and Kevin James (the pastor) made me feel at home there. Kevin is charming and it was a pleasure to have marital counseling with him.
