Comment: We just moved to St Augustine from Nocatee and were in search for a Catholic church.We were attending mass online during COVID-19,the experience of in person mass is engaging and a time to reflect from the usual hustle of 9 to 5 .The church decor is beautiful with high ceiling and glass paintings.

Comment: I grew up in Jacksonville. My late husband Bill and I were staunch Catholics and participated in almost every way one could within the church. We lived in the Riverside area for many years and then moved to the San Marco area. We had the pleasure of working with Father Tetlow and having functions at Marywood and being associated with the San Juan del Rio parish. Twenty years ago we moved to Hawthorne, Fla. My husband died in 2008 In 2018 circumstances dictated that I had to move once again and quickly decided that it would be back to Jacksonville. My one, absolute requirement was that we be in the San Juan del Rio parish with Father Tetlow. My new husband David and I are raising our grandson Nathaniel and I knew he would get an excellent Catholic experience that would last him for a lifetime. We have not been disappointed. My husband, who was not Catholic, attended CRHP and now RCIA and is converting to Catholicism. The lord works in mysterious ways and I am glad that part of his plan for me was to bring me home to San Juan del Rio Catholic Church. We love it here.

Comment: Wonderful parish - I moved here 4 years ago from WI and LOVED my church up north. It took me a while to get used to a different church, especially this one because it is so large. If you get involved with the various activities or missions within the church you will meet many friendly people, all willing to help. Father John and Father Bart have great homilies - love love love it!!

Comment: Im new to the parish. Just started at Christmas time. Wasnt completely happy with my other parish. Went on a whim for Saturday vigil. I love this Church! Quiet, serene. Not too big. Both of the priests Ive had have been so nice with great homilies. Would recommend.
