Comment: My husband Tim and I started attending SCC just after Pastor Jeramie and his wife Jennifer had arrived. It did not take long to see that Christ and His word were at the center of all instruction and that SCC truly wants to grow you in Christ, to equip you to be fishers of men. We joined SCC because we wanted to be a part of this church family, and not simply attend to see what we could gain from it. Best decision ever!!!

Comment: Was able to attend the Easter 2023 service which was overflowing with people. There was a presence of God and I hope this church can be a beacon on this island. I look forward to attending the few weeks a year we are on the island.

Comment: What an amazing church! I had low expectations, but, wow! They keep the lighthouse of the gospel of Christ shining bright on this island. I loved the service and their focus on the only source of all life - Jesus. Good job pastor and the worship team.

Comment: Ive been coming to this church whenever Im on Sanibel island. The old church remains but only serves for the 8am traditional. Theres a new campus for other services and activities but I prefer the original building. It brings back many memories. 😍

Comment: Hmmm....kind of feel weird rating a church, but this is how the Goog works. After visiting the island seven consecutive years we visited SCC for the first time last year. The members and regular attendees are genuinely welcoming to visitors. We immediately felt like we found our home church away from home. At this post, SCC is seeking a pastor and have a solid interim pastor skilled in expository preaching. SCC is a multi-non-denominational church that focuses on Gods word as revealed in Scripture. Not watered down or wishy-washy. Next year will be our 9th consecutive year vacationing on Sanibel. We will be worshipping with our brothers and sisters in Christ at Sanibel Community Church.

Comment: Amazingly well organised Easter event! Easter egg hunt with a separate area for under 2s and pre schoolers so they didnt get trampled on by the big kids. Welcoming, open, friendly to all religions. Beautiful people and a beautiful community.

Comment: My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Sannibel and wanted to find a church to worship with on Sunday. Sannibel Community church was so welcoming and so grounded in the word. We both commented on the prayer at the start of the sermon, as the church was kneeling we prayed for the country, its leaders, our men in battle, the list went on. It was a beautiful example of how the church should pray daily. We also joined them for their 4th of July pancake breakfast which is such a great success and ministry in itself.

Comment: Easter service in 2017 was great! We were visiting from out of town and were welcomed by everyone we saw. The kids/family service was great. Music was beautiful and the sermon was a nice mix of jid friendly and adult appropriate. The kids received lots of goodies to eat and keep them entertained as well.

Comment: If you visit Sanibel Island, visit Sanibel Community church. It is uplifting and vibrant worship with fantastic music. We attended two Sundays in March, 2017 and loved it. They also have a wonderful book/gift store and cafe open Sundays and during the week as well.

Comment: Childcare at 9am service is AWESOME. Pastors and ministry team are gifted well for their respective roles. Snacks after 9am service is perfect. Sanibel Community Church is clearly pursuing the Truth and carries out the worship with Heavenly EXCELLENCE. Weve attended on vacation and now call this church home since we arrived as full-time Sanibel residents.
