Comment: Been coming here as a member for nearly two years and already our lives have been so impacted by the gospel. This church prioritizes the gospel and is completely Christ centered, people hear the full gospel here. The community of believers are so warm and they truly make you feel like you’re home. Comment: We have come to love this place so much! The Gospel is preached and the Bible is taught very clearly without any fluff! The body of Christ is loving and friendly, very mission minded and genuinely care about the lost and the growth of all believers. We are encouraged to do life together as believers and serve the Lord with gladness. The children’s ministry is wonderful. The lessons go beyond “Jesus is my Friend” and “Jesus loves you”. Our kids look forward to it every Sunday and Wednesday. Sunday morning Growth Groups/Seminars for children and adults are great. Our family has been learning so much! Children, 4th grade and higher, worship in church with their family for the service. I really love that! Awesome bookstore with great resources for helping us all grow in the Lord and raise our families for His glory! So thankful to the Lord that He has brought us to this place! SHBC is our home! ❤️ Come join us!

Comment: BIBLICAL is what puts this church at the top of a long list. Many preachers give their own interpretations of the Bible or they attempt to manipulate the language so it says what they want it to say; Pastor Andrew gives the literal message of the Bible. (Gods Word is NOT subject to interpretation.) This pastor is fiercely committed to explaining what the Bible actually says, instead of claiming there are cryptic meanings that have to be interpreted in light of todays popular views.How can I make such claims? This isnt my first rodeo... uh, service. Over the past 40 years Ive been a speaker, worship team leader, group leader, mentor, mediator, etc., all at other churches. Im not actively involved here, which is purposeful because allows me to remain objective.Supporting data? Watch the movie American Gospel. Itll give you a whole different perspective illustrating how many preachers messages radically differ from the true message of the Bible.

Comment: We are happy to call SHBC our church home. What drew us was the intentionality of the members to welcome us as visitors the first time around. Christian doctrine is taken seriously and taught solidly, especially through the songs we sing. The ministry teams are hard working, Christ loving people and we are blessed to be supported by them.

Comment: Fantastic preaching, best church in Broward!! The Holy Spirit is truly at this church, they are Christ centered and they preach sound doctrine, biblical Christianity! The worship songs are amazing, focused on our Lord and his wonderful sacrifice for us. The church is very well organized and there is reverence every Sunday and Wednesday services as it should be! Everyone is so welcoming, loving and the pastors are all so friendly and kind. I live about 30 minutes away but the drive is so worth it every Sunday.

Comment: In 2015 our family made the decision to move from Downtown Miami to Broward County, in search of better schools and future for our kids. After visiting different churches in search for Christian family, with no success, we returned to our home church (Christ Fellowship, Downtown). One Sunday as we share our situation, one of our Friends referred SHBC. The following Sunday we went to the church for the first time,.where Mis. Pat and Mr. Kerry made an unforgettable positive impact on us. And in the middle of the service Erica and I started to feel at home. Not long after our family joined the membership clase and My wife got Baptized. We love that the Word of God is Taught very thoroughly and that Mankind’s lost condition is clearly stated and that Christ alone is the Answer for people to be Born Again.

Comment: The sermons are always deep and meaningful. Pastor Andrew Coleman preaches everything truthfully and biblically from subjects ranging from Hell to Heaven to get one prepared to accept Jesus Christ as ones Lord and Savior and believe in Him and walk in his ways all ones life. Great church.

Comment: I like the messages preached here. Pastor Coleman incorporates whats going on around us with the message of God. This helps me to evaluate myself against Gods word. I highly recommend visiting this church if you are searching to grow in Gods word. I havent gone to bible study but plan too. Thats why I didnt give it 5 stars.
