Comment: Its one of the more authentic bigger churches Ive attended out of the eight so far and has really genuine believers and great preaching. As a mature Christian I have learned to discern, and this church has more credence in Christ than the pretense of those mega churches here, which are churches I advise anyone coming here to avoid.

From day one I found this non-denominational church to be a place the Holy Spirit moves through powerfully. Solid teaching, a fantastic kids ministry, updated campus. Men’s and Women’s ministries. We tithe as a church to the greater Church by giving to local and worldwide missions and missionaries. WE ARE THE CHURCH!! 24/7/365. You need a place to call home and for my family it has been SSCC. Visit!!

Comment: From the very first visit at South Shore we could feel the presence of God. It was very powerful and still is. I am always lifted up when I have been there, whether in person or online.The mantra is BE LOVE REACH. I am impressed with the outreach throughout the local community and the world. For the size of the church, the outpouring of support is extensive. Also in a community of so many retired people they have all ages in attendance. The children and teen groups are large and growing at a fast pace. Sunday worship is inspiring and challenging for each of us to share the love of Christ in everything we do.

We relocated to Sarasota from Chapel Hil, NC and tried out a few churches before attending South Shore. I am so thankful that God led us here. It has been a joy to call South Shore Community Church our home church. The preaching is phenomenal and bible based, the childrens ministry is outstanding and has many fun engaging activities where children learn about God, and there are SO many events and ways to get involved.
