Comment: We visited this church our first Sunday upon moving to Jacksonville in 2015 and we love being a part of this church still. Weve had friends come and go, but this group of pastors and staff never stop seeking Gods will and have continued growing and challenging people to do the same! If youre looking for a church that believes the whole Bible and teaches from the Scriptures, with anointed leaders, come visit Southpoint!I cant neglect saying this church is committed to investing in the next generations! We have three children who absolutely love going to church; they truly feel loved and cared for by the volunteers!

Comment: My brother and Sister in law invited us on Easter and we have been going every Sunday since. We love it so much, everyone is so kind. Even tho were still new it feels like a family. All the Pastors are amazing and so is everyone who works there! My kids love and my oldest ask when its Sunday every other day because he has grown to love it as much as us! I recommend Southpoint to anyone who looking for a church!

Comment: Pastor Ross is phenomenal. Pastor Aaron and Pastor Ryan are great! I love the entire Southpoint Community Church team. Everybody is so warm and friendly like family. SCC is the closest church to my home. Im proud to say they are also one of the best. They share true Christian values without compromise. I would recommend SCC to every Christian friend I know. I try to come here every Sunday except when Im traveling out of the town. Thank you SCC team. Keep up the good work!

Comment: I have not gone to this church yet but they have held a Halloween trunk or treat since the pandemic and I am so grateful because you have given the community a safe place to go to on this unpredictable holiday. Not only that, you all have shared your space and have included your entire community, this makes you feel the love of Christ. I will definitely be joining some services to support this church. This is what a church is supposed to be like. You should not hide your light on Halloween but let it shine. It is the sick that need healing. The people at this church who volunteer to pass out candy, do it with so much love and joy for all people. We didn’t feel like we didn’t belong. Felt like we were going to our church event. Y’all took this holiday and made it an experience for God with the love and kindness. Keep up the good work you all are doing in the community.

Its a big congregation so I suggest jumping into Growth Track as soon as you get there.Im all about fellowship and community and this place has that and more. The worship is always awesome, truly connecting you to the heart of Jesus. The preachings always hit home in a way thats meaningful and not cookie cut out of an old sermon book. Comment: Been here over three years now after finding it online and watching a couple sermons. It is very welcoming with the right mix of challenging you to get more into Gods word. Wonderful worship every week (think of a rock concert but sponsored by God!) and child care is great. Recommendation: GET INTO A LIFE GROUP! It connects you with others that are just like you (theres more than you think!), helping you meet others in the church and you soon begin to realize that you are not alone - there are others on this journey who will walk with you, until eventually you are a part of the family and helping to welcome others.

They dont seem used to guests /out of towners lol. Nice service. Clean bathrooms. A lot of follow up thru put the week, just unfortunately not while we were there in person...

They have such a strong sense of family, do everything in their power to make sure everyone has a sense of belonging, and are just genuine people. There are so many activities and things to do there from life groups to ministries based on your age/ marital status. They even offer death and spanish interpreters on certain sundays. Careful!!!!! If you take a trip to southpoint you are almosr certain to never want to go to another church again.

From the first couple times at Southpoint it was like we were already a part of it. Everyone is so inviting and kind! I love the diversity of the church! I was able to get into a life group which has lifted me up and helped me create a deeper relationship with Jesus and other Christ-following women . My daughter also loves going into the kid care and has made many friends there (4 years). We love Pastor Russ and Miss Debbie and how everything they preach is based around the scripture. Comment: My church home. The pastor teaches the Bible in a way that challenges & motivates you to examine your relationship with God and constantly pursue Jesus. There is a high focus on building spiritual family and community. SCC is ethnically, socio-economically, and generationally diverse. The music also tends to reflect this diversity, which I love. The people who go to SCC are amazing. Getting involved in serving at the church as well as attending a Life Group (seasonal small group sessions during the spring and fall) are the best ways to get connected. Also have very active participation from the deaf community; not only interpretive services but separate services held entirely in ASL. Strong supporter of mission work both in our own city as well as overseas.
