Comment: St Francis Cabrini Xavier Catholic Church is a very welcoming place to worship. The people are as friendly as the staff. Father Joseph Gates is a great priest who offers something to learn with each homily. If you would like to understand the Bible readings for the week, he’s your man! We have a parish pot luck every month and during Lent, we have a drive through Fish Fry on Fridays from 5 - 7pm. We also have a terrific Faith Formation program for younger kids and a great Youth group for our teens. We have a very active Knights of Columbus group for our adult men as well as many other programs for the congregation. There is a lot of God’s love coming out of this church and we look forward to meeting any and all new parishioners. Come join us as we listen to God’s word and strive to become better Christians.

Comment: I feel spiritually fed and my soul is fortified each time I attend Mass. Father Joes homolies are pertinent to todays problems; explaining and putting in perspective the words of our Lord and the Apostles. In my opinion Father Joe is one of the most effective Priests I have known in my lfetime.

Comment: Love our little church, St Francis Cabrini is a beautiful church. My husband and I moved here in 2000, we were here only 5 years, had to move away for job transfer, but did return to celebrate our 50th Anniversary in 2008 and had our marriage blessed, it was a surprise Anniversary gift from our 3 children. Now we are retired and moved back to Ellenton , Fl in 2015, and back to our lovely church once again. We are so happy to be back here .
