Comment: My family and I left Tampa 7 years ago. We have so much history with St Stephens. We left when the new church was built. It was truly amazing to have had an opportunity to share Sunday mass with the parish.

Comment: Beautiful Catholic Church. We visited this church for the first time. The main church was closed. However, the Chapel was open. As most churches, it is very peaceful and relaxing. If youre visiting or living around Riverview, this church is a most visit. Light a candle and leave a small donation, if you can.

Comment: I’d like to start this review by prefacing this church is a beautiful place where lovely people come to congregate and give worship to the lord, unfortunately one bad apple spoils the bunch…in this case, the apple has set of keys coupled with territorial aggressive and uncomfortably strange behavior.I’ve been going to this mass for the past 6 months as I’ve just moved here in the past year, I’ve experienced and talked to other parishioners that have also experienced very poor treatment.Yelling at young children that they may not use the bathroom located in the small room to the left on the entrance to the church, or be present in that room at all.. A 17 year old and 13 year old were in the room awaiting their father so they could enter church together and were very aggressively told to verbatim “get out now” they complied and the door was harshly shut on them during mass.A man also left his belongings in the room, as often people leave their umbrella there as to not wet the inside of the church, upon him asking the other very kind ushers if he could enter they seemed perplexed as to why it was locked in the first place. So many parents with young children go in that room during mass when their child can’t be in the crying room due to numerous reasons and can not enter as it’s been locked, so many families use that bathroom adjacent to the crying room when the crying room bathroom is taken and many people enter with that door as to not disturb the congregation during mass. That being said, if that room is not to be used that’s absolutely fine but of course there is a kind Christian and appropriate way to communicate that to parishioners especially young children.I wouldn’t write a review but this was not the first time and I’ve seen such horrible cruelty to so many people so many times, this is the house of the lord our God and to have that character of berating others in Gods sacred house is shameful. Unfortunately many of my children do not feel comfortable going to this church any longer which is such a horrible thing because this church is so beautiful and the priests give beautiful masses.. Comment: This is a great Catholic Church. The congregation is friendly, welcoming. Active volunteers help conduct religion classes and Bible study for all ages. They offer bingo, youth activities, Toastmasters, mens and womens and moms groups, Alcoholics Anonymous, There are five weekend Masses, and Reconciliation (Confession) is on Tuesday evening and Saturday afternnon.

Comment: We have been parishioners for 11 maybe 12 years. I love my church and with all chuches or organizations you have those you do not always agree with. I am saddened someone left such a negative remark. I was at one time extremely active with my Parish I have slowed down but it is not because of church it is outside world. We do have a lovely church and yes parking is still a mess LOL. One thing is it is much better than the old church. I wish to welcome all to our new church, people are loving and caring and have a genuine concern without noseyness for their fellow church member.

Comment: I attend mass each Sunday by myself and by choice do not attend the social meeting with parishioners after mass. I find that the persists, the mass, the homily, and more extremely rewarding. I look forward to attending mass her each Sunday at Saint Stephens. The meet and get to know each other after mass is for coffee and donuts, neither of which I partake so I have not met other parishioners.
