Aside from the food Bank, they have a community assistance office which gets aid to the people in need for faster than going to the county service agencies directly. They also have a lunch program thst feeds dozens, if not hundreds, daily. I now take all my donations there.

Comment: I attended several Catholic churches in the area looking for a home church. I have only been to Mass at St Theresa‘s a couple of times, but have found everyone to be friendly and welcoming. There is a joyful, peaceful presence, not only in the church, but also at the thrift shop, and that is uncommon. I have been to lots of thrift shops, and they are usually chaotic and feel heavy and sad. That is not the feeling here at all. I am looking forward to calling St Theresa’s my “home church”.

And thank you for the food and please dont take this the wrong way because its not just y[u all its everywhere and Ocala Marion county doesnt even have a homeless council and I just lost , y house and I have a service animal; and I would live in a shed just to be off of the scary streets at night and not have to worry myself to death everyday all day! Why doesnt any non-profit or any churches start putting up or investing into getting linked with another and so forth and so on? Then start putting up some tiny house village where Its called Villages of Hope. Lol ! Im serious and then people can volunteer and really make a change? Other states have been doing it and our ; lovely governor isnt going to help thats for sure. Well we dont need to go there! So yeah anyways just a thank you all for all that you do, do! It just is pitiful all of the hope they send you to your email everyday and you get all excited after a;l of your research and hard work a, f its all for nothing. Its all really a lie. There is absolutely no help from section 8, HUD or anything else they tell you so thank you sweet baby Jesus for St. Teresas! Ive lived in my car after loosing, my home for almost 7 months now and cant get any help, had to postpone school and I also have my service animal who didnt ask for any of this so thank you again ladies and gents for your time, volunteer work, and your positive hope and prayers!

Comment: Theyve helped me tremendously... When I left my abusive husband and eneded up with no home vehicle or job , they were there for me and gave me not only hope but motivation. They are wonderful... Reason for 4 stars is because the ones serving and attending the food part are mostly rude and disrespectful towards people but the ones in the social service office are so kind, understanding and helpful . The man in charge in s.s. office is amazing. I am forever grateful and in debt with these guardian angels ❤️

Social services are available 5 days a week and from 11-1pm hot meals are served to anybody in the community that comes. Jack and his team are more than staff here, they are a family that welcomes anybody needing assistance to come see them. They always go beyond their title and get the challenges of someone else needs met & do the best they can to achieve peoples needs. ❤️

I listened to every word of the homily with interest and the lady who sang has a very beautiful voice. I truly enjoyed the music and the reverence toward the Body of Christ. I’ve been staying in Ocala for a year and a half and I’ll definitely attend mass here again when I can.

Comment: I am definitely bias on this one. However, Fr. Tom is fantastic, relatable, loving and caring. The Social Services ministry led by Jack serves thousands of meals to the homeless and poor each month. They also help with providing school supplies, clothing and household goods through the thrift store. A youth group, phillipino group, Legion of Mary, and Knights of Columbus are also affiliated. This is the best Catholic community in the greater Ocala area as the motto says, its worth the drive.

Comment: This Church does more for the unfortunate then I have seen in all my years. Alot of people look down on those who have no home, cant get work, or cant support their families but not this church and its congregation. These people open a kitchen everyday to feed those who cant feed themselves, They give clothes to those who have non, they pay Bills for those who couldnt make it that month, but most importantly they give hope to those who see no light and no way to turn their luck around. To these people I say God Bless you and please dont ever stop the good work that you do. You have touched the lives of many and still will touch many more...If nobody thanked you for this well I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Comment: Saint Theresas Catholic Church is nothing more than amazing and carry for the community of Belleview. Not only are they faithful or loyal but they get back by helping so many people that cant afford food, I cant afford rent and the basic need of electric. They feed hundreds of people a week and run event tastic Food Bank that a lot of people would go hungry without them. They have collectively put their money into incredible new food bank and soup kitchen. They have built a gorgeous new house of worship and welcome people from anywhere within the Belleview community. They also have their thrift store the helps people also in times of need or with donations mixed affordable well all the time putting the money right back to the people of Belleview. I thank you very much for all you have done 4 not only life friends and family but myself too. Keep up the good work God has obviously blessed this place

Comment: Former parishioner at St. Theresa Catholic Church, this is a great church with a lot of activities for children. The church always had a great Sunday service and plenty of youth programs. The youth programs were educational and gave a lot back to the kids. Really enjoyed spending time here.

Comment: My mom used to go to that church to talk to her lady the Virgin Mary in times of need she also prayed to God to get me to go to church folks I used to go to church every Sunday but not this church I used to go to a different church but they never listened to the word of the Bible yes I went this one once but it just did not feel right when my mom passed on July 13 2016 I stopped going but I read my bible everyday I made my home a church but I still respect the prestthood,and leadership they do amazing and one thing mom told me was to be kind and respectful most of the time I goin the chapel and pray and light a candle for her she loved this church with everything and I hope you ppray for her her name was Christine Watson thank you

They have an awesome thriftstore, a beautiful sanctuary, and recently added a private school to their list of services. Volunteers operate most of these services!
