Comment: I have been attending live online for a few months and when the anointing falls on the congregation it also falls on us at home. My wife and I both have had supernatural healing while they were praying for us. They even mentioned that someone watching in Ontario Canada with our exact problem was being prayed for. God did that! It is not that the pastor is special or a healer. It is god doing it and many churches are becoming this way again. It is the Holy Sprit. I was cured of a lifetime of extreme anxiety. I have none today. That laughing is not strange. It is the human response to joy unspeakable when God gives it to you. It is normal to be humbled that way in the presence of the Lords Holy Spirit.

If you are hungry for the The Lord Jesus Christ and a touch of God, this is the place for you! The Holy Spirit of God moves here regularly. The services are not church as usual, but how church should be. Me and my husband even packed our belongings to move across the country to attend River University as Dr. Rodney was so generous to award us scholarships for the entirety of the three year program. Our experience here at The River has been abundantly worth more than every mile it took for us to get here. If you’re looking for a wonderful church and/or Bible college, The River at Tampa Bay Church and River University is the place for you—come and see!

Comment: We were led to come here a little over 2 years ago because of the pastors political and faith stand. I can honestly say I remain continually excited and honored to be a part of what The River Church is since I now know much more about it.During the first few months, we were the beneficiaries of intervention from River staff who assisted us with Telmed services when we were both desperately ill. We would have died if they had not gone the extra distance to help us.We soon became members in a short class and began to attend their conferences. Life changing!Next, my husband and I went to healing school for 2 weeks. I wasnt sick but I did get healed of a lifetime of wrong thinking. Cost to attend was zero. Benefits were priceless! I will never be the same. Everyone should go!We became volunteers after that and have caught the fire of the vision to carry the gospel to the world. We had it before but now we joined with others who are actually succeeding in that mission.As a political activist, I was first encouraged by pastors style, which is the same as mine. I have come to appreciate much more of his and his wifes faith, which I now aspire to match.We are starting businesses now because Christians dont retire. They just refire. We learned that in their free business school. I just published another book. Im 74 and growing younger. We also learned about the stem cell patch at this church and now use a Vollara Air and Surface Pro + which healed our allergies. All this and Jesus too! Where are you going to church?

Comment: The River Church saved my life. I was going through a few major storms when Covid hit. I drove cross country and all the churches were shut down. I was watching Pastor Rodney at the green desk As soon as I heard he was opening the church, I got in my car and headed down. I made it May 31. 2020 , when The Stand started I rededicated my life to the Lord. I was called to River University and just completed 2 years in May 2023. My whole life is changed. I never experience deptession . I wake up evey day with joy and peace. I now have a passion for the lost and win souls It is from the teachings of Pastors Rodney and Adonica Howard- Browne. Every teacher and Pastor on staff is truly anointed and full of the Word of God. Honestly, I dont know what would have happened to me but for The River. I thank God for bringing me here. Comment: Went to River Church with my cousin and a friend and the organized way to seat so many people for Sunday morning church was excellent. The volunteers help you register, you get a wrist band to wear and the welcoming is very warm; the praise and worship is a revival revolution; The pastor and his wife are very personable. My cousin got water baptized right after service. There is hot food plates to buy and free food, water and vegetables to take home. There is a bus service to take you and bring you to church. Comment: I came there to pick up a Thanksgiving turkey with me and my girlfriend. The next Sunday on 11-26-23 I return for the morning service. I rededicated my life to the Lord. And since then I have been totally healed from things that were in my body.. I give God all the glory and thank God for a wonderful and anointing church . Comment: The presence of the lord is available here. We drove from TN. 12hr drive and it was worth it. It seemed like a normal place. Everyone was nice & helpful. The purifying machines are phenomenal but other than the size of the church, the people serving, and the sermons there is something about this place it feels like heaven on earth if you are ready to receive. Comment: I felt the presence, peace of God from the moment I parked my truck. There were so many lovely parking attendants helping direct traffic and wonderful Spirit-filled Police and Security officers. I could sense the love of God. I was tempted to be a little frustrated because I forgot my drivers license which is required upon entry. I quickly got over that and retrieved it from my vehicle. It would help to have a few signs asking people to have their IDs ready. The worship and testimony time was spectacular and so encouraging! Even a 12 year old boy had led a 70 year old lady to Jesus and prayed for her to be healed! Please disregard the posts on here that show negative experiences from well-meaning people. Come experience it for yourself! God loves all people, no matter where youre at in your Journey.

Comment: I severely injured my knee in a fall at home and could not walk without assistance. I met a wonderful young lady, Carolyn, who was very caring who told me she would pray for my recovery and removal of my pain. Thinking she would pray later that evening at home I was surprised when she placed her had on my shoulder and asked me to pray with her as she prayed. Carolyn I finished praying my pain was completely gone. I could stand, walk, bend my knee without pain at all. I believe, through Carolyn, Lord removed my pain. Not only removal of pain, but Carolyns prayer, her words, her explanations of scripture, I there, gave myself to the Lord, completely.

Comment: Fantastic opportunity to get saturated in the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, to focus on evangelism and community outreach, putting God first, and dedicating your life to His service. Regarding the Bible college, you can go for 1, 2, or 3 years. It changed my life. I met my husband there too. ;) I grew so much closer to God and had awesome godly examples of my pastors pouring into my life each and every day. I definitely recommend the school if you feel called to ministry, Gods service, or if you just want to strengthen your understanding of and doing of the Word. As a member of the church, I recommend plugging in and allowing the Holy Spirit to do a thorough work in your heart so you can impact your realm of influence with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each service is a life-changing experience because Gods presence is REAL.

I already raised my nine kids, so I cant benefit from the astounding rare programs they offer young people. I wish so much I lived near a church like this when raising them. Security is needed from all the threats from staying open when told to shut down. It keeps the people inside safe from the ones that want to destroy it. He blessed us with my wedding ring, a celebration afterwards, and a 17 day cruise to Hawaii.This was not planned, and it all happened in 3 days. He did not once judge us because we werent married.My 74 year old mother was baptized here, and the next year my husband was baptized here as well.All of the comments about Just wanting your money etc are far from what weve experienced. Comment: Ive never attended, but follow on YouTube. It amazes me to see how some discredit the ministry because they remain open. Frankly, I was disappointedabout the churches that shut down. Jesus was radical and NOT politically correct. There is definitely a difference between those who believe and those who follow Christ. The divide is very clear. Most people followed mandates and orders from the government without doing their own research on the virus. Ive worked in the medical field since 2009. Looking at the numbers reported alone was not even logical. CDC even reports that only 6 percent of what is reported is the true number. We need to seek other sources and NOT take main stream propaganda as truth. This social test proved most will be lead like sheep. Research sheep and see just how intelligent they are. I did, and understand why we are paralleled with sheep in the Bible. Blessings.

Comment: We visited here from Texas for the pastors conference. We love pastor Rodney Howard-Browne and the River church. I actually didn’t realize how much they do for their surrounding community, and we also heard that they were housing thousands of people affected by the hurricane in the Bahamas. This is A wonderful example of how the church is called to love one another. The worship and message were incredible, and it is so rare to find a church that allows the time and creates the atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to move. Comment: Another five star review to skip over, unless you want to know about my personal experience...I am from New Jersey, and my daughter told me about River Church and River Bible Institute (University). We were in the Tampa area, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to see the church and campus. Fortunately, we visited during their recent 2019 Fire Conference Summer Youth Week. I was completely amazed at the energy and move of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the teens at the conference. I have NEVER been to any Youth Conference where I saw so many teens completely on fire for God! I was absolutely floored! I felt like I was reliving Pentecost in modern times. Teens were being baptized in the Holy Spirit and baptized in water; they were giving their heart’s to Christ and crying out in worship with all their strength. I have no doubt in my heart these teen’s lives have been changed forever.I know many other reviewers have criticized this church and their speakers regarding their teaching on giving and partnering financially with the ministry. I understand some people find this offensive. Please remember that River Church doesn’t charge money for the activities they provide. No one is obligated to give any financial support of any kind. Their university, River Bible Institute, provides a free three-year bachelor’s degree to anyone who is qualified, capable and willing to attend. The youth conference I mentioned earlier was also free to attend. It is obvious this church is passionate about reaching people that need a saving relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and they are not doing this for financial gain.Many of the critiques in the other Google Reviews criticized errors or mis-judgements in function or interactions or processing by staff or volunteers at the church. With any organization, there are always going to be good-intentioned mistakes made by individuals and failures of processes due to the scope and breadth of the events, activities and the quantity of people involved. I am certain there is always a better way to manage and implement every event and interaction, however this is most apparent after the mistakes have already been made. Peace friends, I am certain the volunteers and organizers of the events and church services do not intend for anyone to have a negative experience. Sometimes mistakes and oversights happen.I personally believe that it is most important to lead others into a saving relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This is called Salvation, which is the “narrow gate” opening to the “path” that leads to Heaven after a person’s physical death on Earth. They are doing what true churches are supposed to do--teaching, reaching, winning souls for the Kingdom, aiding those in need. Theres a Kingdom Business Finance meeting every Tuesday evening, and there are campmeetings and conferences throughout the year. House of Joy is the awesome name for small groups. They have a gun club with regular events. Land of Delight farm products are quality and much of the options are organic; they also have a water filtration system that Im eager to acquire at some point. Comment: I just got back home from healing school with my toddler as a single mom I struggle with a lot of things from my childhood. The pastor and his wife are so amazing and my eyes were opened. My life has changed in a tremendous way. I can go on and on over all the blessings that has been poured over my life.Looking back I thank the lord for guiding me to this amazing church. I remember in 2019 the church sent out a group of young adults to testify next to a grocery store and give free food. I thought it was nonsense to have to wait for preaching to be over to get food. I was ready to go but no I stayed and waited with patients. That night I left with more than just a bag of groceries. Thank you lord!I received a call from them to pray for me after this outdoor service and again I thought it was crazy he said repeat this prayer after me. But wow this church keeps fighting the battle has been won. When you think you are alone and battling alone in this world at the end of your road. This church family appears and life is never the same.The services are longer than normal church but it isn’t a big deal to me. A lot of people complain about this but don’t complain about how much time we spend being slaves to everything in the world.I like how the river church go above and beyond for everyone no matter the situation you find yourself they always say to stay positive and always talk positive over your life using scripture.The ID issues the worker said if a person doesn’t have they will find a way to help them get it and it’s no big deal to me. I’ve had a church ask for a full background check just to volunteer at the kids area.Come get filled with the love and peace of God. This church is on fire for the lord and I’m in for it. You will leave a soldier ready for what God calls you to do.
