Comment: We love this church!! The congregation is diverse with people of all ages, races and ethnic backgrounds. Nobody wears a suit and tie, its strictly come as you are. This church is about Jesus and the gospel with nothing added. Pastor Mark Crossman is wonderful. He has a way of explaining the Bible in todays language. Until we found this church, we thought no one cared about God anymore. We discovered they do, they just moved to The Cross.

Comment: Our experience was that we were very warmly welcomed when we visited recently. Uplifting music. Pastor delivered a well thought out, Biblically based sermon, with keen insights and a healthy dose of creativity and humor. Not boring at all!

Comment: You want a meat off the bone Scripture based message with great friendly church family THIS IS THE CHURCH TO GO TO...love it love it love it. Come bring your kids to a well organized and safe environment (they have a very attentive safety team posted all over campus). Youth (6th and up) on Wednesdays is awesome and welcoming and fun for all....cant wait to get back to church... Thank you all team and Pastor Zach Zender

Comment: We are visiting fromOhio. What a great service and message. Totally impressed by the Church Veterans Ministy. What an honor for this 94 year old Veteran. I had the opportunity to shake his hand and thank him for serving our Country. It seems as if your Church is growing and moving to Witnessing and Serving God’s people. Leaving soon to go back to Ohio. I would sure continue to attend your service if I were here longer. God’s Peace!

They strive to make everyone feel at home and thats exactly how I feel every time I set foot into this church. They have amazing ministries for children, small groups to get closer connected to others, ON POINT worship and a message all about our loving God. Try it out, Im sure youll love it!

Comment: For my family, its the best option around. the Pastor teaches the Word of God and he is very relevant without compromising the Truth. The leadership is also very active at serving the community in various ways. They dont just preach, they live what they preach and they have a lot of fun doing it. My favorite part is that they dont think inside or outside the box because there is no box.

Comment: My wife Tracee and I are new to the Cross east lake and we are thrilled to be a part of the family! Hee are some of the things we love:1.much love and sincerity amongst the members2. Great bible preaching and teaching3. Pastor Zack is relevant and transparent sticking to the true Gospel of Jesus.4. Worship team Rocks!5. I Dont have to wear a five piece suit.6. Very outreach oriented so you are encouraged to actually live the Christ life and love as he Loved. Reaching the hurting.7. Great pre-service coffee and snacks!Tracee and I have been in ministry for years and can sense that this is a church where Gods hand is moving in a mighty way. Every one there is excited to be there and share the sense of great anticipation as to a very great move of God stirring up at The Cross East Lake, To His Glory and our joy!

Comment: In a relaxed, come-as-you-are setting, you will experience terrific, soul-searching sermons, great contemporary Christian rock songs, kind and generous people, and snacks/juice/coffee (with highchairs available!). There is a sound-proof cry room (where you still get to see and hear the sermon!) that has toys, rocking chair and changing table if you want to keep your baby with you but dont want to disrupt the service. There are exceptional daycare areas (toy-filled nursery for little ones, fun arts and crafts room for the elementary kids, and a cool movie/lounge room for older kids). There are always fun events going on for all ages, from small group get-togethers to huge parties that the whole world is welcomed to attend. The Cross has helped my family so much. We thank God we are part of such a great group that is not only fun and non-judgmental, but also practices what it preaches by doing a ton of good for the community and helping those in need.

Comment: I have spent so many years in different churches. What impresses me most about The Cross. everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I feel like I am not being judged or scrutinized, I feel accepted. Pastor Zack preaches some of the most thought provoking and soul searching sermons I have ever heard. The Cross felt like home so quickly. Definitely a place where Jesus dwells.The Cross in Mount Dora is a great place to be.
